I'm just saying, so many people in high school who become wildly popular for anything tend to be dicks because they are immature and don't know any better.

Doesn't mean its ok, just means its fucking high school and most people are dicks so who cares.

Exactly what I said. It's high school and kids will be kids. Everybody grows up. It's the immature's one's that don't let it go.

When your states professional athletes are overpaid shitheads that suck at what they do, people tend to latch on to the one person that actually does great.

Seriously, watching pee-wee teams is more satisfying than watching the Orioles or the Ravens.

Still does not change the fact that he was a tool. Just because he has x amount of medals does not mean his shit smells like cinnabuns. Sorry for having an opinion against an American "Hero".


By the way. i think it is awesome that the dude one that many medals, it is a amazing accomplishment. He is still a fucking tool though.

I'm not worshipping him or anything, im just saying young people do dumb things. Also im not criticizing people who smoke pot. But it still effects your motor skills and can increase the chance of a car accident way more then when sober. Im sure drunk drivers say the same as pot smokers. "IT DOESNT EFFECT ME LOL"

Speaking from a person about to graduate in Nursing, I know of a lot of people every year in our hospital alone that gets in car accidents linked to smoking pot. It happens. Just because you do it, doesnt make it safe.
 
lets just agree that mike was foolish in school (god knows that doesn't happen everyday) and that drugs & booze are bad for you M'kay!

Driving stoned and driving high are two completely different things. When you are stoned your motor skills are enhanced while in high anxiety environments...lets say driving a car.

Reminds me of a funny story my brother told me.

He was at a pizza shop a while ago (some mom & pop joint in the Towson area), and Phelps mom was throwing a little tiff about why wasn't she getting a discounted/free pizza. She was apparently saying things like "Do you know who my son is?" "He's an Olympic swimmer" "He's an American hero" etc. My brother, who was standing behind her, said "Shit, I swim too, can I get a free pizza too?". Needless to say she was not amused.

lol. He did the same thing in the high school whenever he came to visit. Not the pizza thing, but he flaunted the, OMG I AM A SWIMZER! thing.
 
I was at the Ravens game saturday. I cheered U-S-A with 10,000 other people. That was exhilarating.

I was a fucking d-bag in high school too, but I changed. The mom needs to get some fucking pride though. Single mother raising three kids? She's not the only one and now they'll be rich as shit just off of the endorsements.
