I have created a form in Word 2003 with fill in fields and check boxes. Once the form is filled in (and checkboxes checked) I press the "Send to Mail Recipient' icon and send the document. However, when the form is recieved the text for the checkboxes is there but the actual checked box is not there. How do I fix this problem? It works if it is sent as an attachment, however we wanted the form directly in the body of the e-mail.

Thanks all you smarties out there,

Mir

Does the user on the other end have word as thier default email editor?

Can be found in outlook

Tools>Options> Mail format tab

There should be 2 check boxes there about using word as the default editor.

I just tried fiddling with those options and I'm still getting the same result. I've been googling it most of the morning on how to fix it but there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer out there.

Was it on the other user?

Gotcha. But thats all I can think of w/o having the document to screw around with. GL
