Yeah. I admit I never got heavily into endgame, but I avoided dealing with that shell at all. Slimeballs >< Even tho I'm skilling cooking and one option is to do red curry/buns, I'd rather not deal with people like that. Cursed soup might be slower, but at least I don't have to deal with slimeballs.

Thanks for the warning about the bad ones on Quetz tho. I'd rather know who I wanna give a very wide berth to..and now I know what happened to Persistance. I'd heard they'd had problems and was laughing, since I do not like them at all.

Ooooh boy, Dragon's Aery is gonna be a fun place to chill at once these dudes show up heh heh. *goes to Costco and buys a big box of popcorn* I'm sure this will last a while

Coming from a drama llama like myself, the Flameboard is actually a great place to get a quick idea of what people are about. You get to sort of relive the old dramas, forge your own conclusions from the points provided and you get a better snapshot of someone when they're attacking/being attacked than you do in a welcome post of a recruiting thread.

Lots of info to be gleaned here, if you've got the stomach for the fire.

Heh, double posts happen.

Anyway, when I got time I'll look back. I'm not up on the full drama from Midgard since because of scheduling issues, I never did HNM, but considering what my main craft is, it's a good thing to know who to avoid. (Worst I ever did was get a couple of ToDs for a friend's shell and for Valor (which is the shell Eightbit or whatever their name is gonna be frissioned off from) since I was in area. And I'd rather keep it that way..still got hoofmarks on me bum from the pony that I was watching)

Yeah, not sure if you've had the pleasure of thinking better of it or catching a typo right as you hit the "post" button but there is no editing on the Flameboard. Keeps people honest, or at least makes you think twice about shooting off a post when you're sleep-deprived or inebriated.

Some of the flames spark some decent debate, but I can't really reference you any because it'd just be links to my posts. =p I'm sure you'll get the hang of it, though. It doesn't take long for a problem player to piss off the wrong person on the wrong day to get a reaction from them. Welcome to the seedy underbelly of Quetzalcoatl!

Ha! Well, since I'm a sack in SW, I guess I should speak up anyway. (Waited until now since I was tired, and I'd rather be able to think straight.)

Since SW has always been a shell where anyone who likes smn or is one has been welcome, we've had our newbies, and we've had those that join JUST because they want their ying-yang robe, and then they go away. (Some of the shell breaks we had in the past when Twoofy was shellholder was because someone stole ToD off the lsmes and he couldn't find the rotter to snap his/her pearl.)

There's also been conflict over our NM namesake at times, we've even been accused of botting, which isn't true. (We've had a ton of experience camping Shiki and yes, we usually have a widescanner) I don't know WHAT it is about NMs that makes people want to fight over it. I could burn you guys's ears a bit with some tales I heard from Markuma...but since that's old, I'd rather just not go there.

Also we do have some crappy players, but then again, there's always bad players in any job and many considered us the best chance to get ying yang robe. (I don't consider myself a bad summoner; I try to do my best no matter what job I'm on. Even tho most of my oldest friends always see me as a White Mage, not a summoner :D) Once the shell gets remade, I'll see if I can talk to Slayerindian and see if we can shake things up a little bit. NO one wants to go back to the old days where the shell got busted every six months or so, however. We lost a lot of good people that way...

If it helps, some of the summoners on my list to help me shred Nimble Nelson were in SW in the past or are still in SW. I was trying to pick the most skilled ones I knew since well. I don't want to lose. Tho I'm gonna have to find a new pld/nin or ninja to keep the rabbit off us since Nayami and Renard quit...I had to ask around since there's NO info on that bunny anywhere, even tho I'm close to making that maze. (3 runes away if you don't count Supreme Might) Here's to hoping!
 
I wouldn't mind joining another all SMN shell, mind you, Isis is a SMN shell mostly dedicated for smn burns. I visit that one from time to time.

I'm sure once your SW LS is re-established, you can probably find a lot of good SMN players on Quetz to join in and possibly form a positive rep for the shell.
 
If you can get me in touch with the leader of that after the transfer; there's a summonerburn on midgard that might want to talk to them just so they won't be fighting over the camp. Seaofheather told me there's two on midgard, but the one she runs is willing to talk things out. A quetz friend told me two people to talk to which I relayed to them; We're gonna have enough spats as it is, don't need yet another ><

It doesn't have to be. Only Kaz and Perseverance are left camping anything and Pers does it very minimally. Kaz is generally friendly to us and I think they will likely try to be to the incoming shells as well. I know we will try to be as sportspersonly as possible. As long as there isn't crap like dragging darters through fafnirs...

I'm not trying to play the devil advocate here but, you know, sooner or later it's bound to happen that shit is going to hit the fan when our resident botting shell meets their resident botting shell. It's really just a matter of time lol. I guess I'll be waiting for the "my bot is bottier than your bot" thread in the upcoming weeks. :)

Looks like your going to have your hands full when this server moves in huh Hexx.

I really hope that the people from mid have some form of respect not like other shells from the past jumped here and cause nothing but drama.

I'm not entirely sure which split-off shell from persistence bots, or if any even bot now, but if and when they do show up you won't see respect. =X
 
i think its going to be safe to say that the shells coming to QC are going to attempt to prove a point and muscle their way in to show they wont be pushed around.

I gotta agree with you on this, i have no problem with new ppl coming on to the server, but when they act like ass hats, then its time to take off the boxing gloves..

Then i love Tribalinius idea about Ballista qcdn V.s mid haha would be like the Saints V.s Colts
