Millionaire's Desk - Is it a rumor or what?

Well, I can see that this specific item still has not been completely figured out. As far as saying that it adds a TH3 or lucky egg gives you TH4 that is really stupid. There is the possibility that the desk, the lucky egg, the 4-leaf mandy bud, wild rabbit tail, or whatever other shit may add a small % to drop rates. i.e. if TH1 gives a 15% boost in drop rate(not saying it does) then maybe the desk adds an additional 1% or the egg adds an additional 1%. The possibility is still there and if the possibility is there then I will keep these items.
 
I just want to throw this out, but is it possible that this desk could work much like an opo opo crown? Meaning that if it is in your layout in your mh and you ate a certain food it may give the THF ability.
 
So many people have so many opinions about this, and almost none of them have any proof what so ever.
 
Same could be said for serket shield. The serket shield very well could do something else. Heck it drops off freaking serket. But more than likely it does what it says it does, and people pay for what it says it does...nothing.
 
So many opinions and no proof is why I am gonna hold on to these things ~Just in case.

Was looking for proof but there doesn't seem to be any.
