I listened to previews on my phones music store and was not impressed at all.

I listened to previews on my phones music store and was not impressed at all.

They played through the cd on Q101 a few weeks ago. I only caught the second half of the album, but I didn't like it at all.

It leaked a week or so back, and I've heard it's incredibly disappointing compared to Hybrid Theory/Meteora. :\ Probably won't buy it myself unless I start hearing better things about it.

It sound like they are trying to copy alot of different styles instead of sticking to their own.

I've heard 30 sec clips from two other songs on their main website and one I didn't care for but the other was alright. I'll see if aol radio has it posted. Sometimes they have full CD streams to listen too on new releases. I honestly forgot that this CD was out today lol.

Its not a bad cd i'm a big Linkin Park fan also it is a very different sound i must say i like it i mean it an't crap but its very different plus i must say Rick Ruban is a great music producer u have to look at the stuff he did w/ the other bands. Give it some time and it will grow on u if u like it u like if not then oh well just burn it from someone else if u don't want to spend the 9.99 at Target for it lol.

yeh meteora on up i have not liked the songs the moment i hear em...but they grow on me and i love them all. not one lp song i dont like, and i have every single lp related song and material ever. Im like the #1 fan.
just heard this album a little bit ago and my only complaint is it starts big and in the middle just goes soft. it sounds different, but every new album by them has and will sound different.
they are a band that will not limit themselves to one sound and thats good compared to todays market produced piles of shit.
i personally love the album already, i could do less with the mellow but its still good.
Shadow of the day gave me chills.
and In between may just be my fave song.

Oh snap, This came out today? I completely forgot. I'll have to swing my K-Mart or something and pick it up cheap. I've liked most LP stuff, not a big fan of the LP/Jay-Z mixes though, and Hybrid Theory wasn't too great accept for My December. I loved that song. I enjoyed Meteora though, and I've only heard a little of their first released song from this new cd, and I enjoyed what I've heard so far.

see i love hybrid theory reanimation and meteroa a hell of alot more than this, i like this cd but it does sound like they are trying to copy some other bands

yeah I like there older stuff better. I even like their unreleased stuff from awhile ago that they have. Second one, was ok at first, then it grew on me. I'm hoping this one grows on me as well whenever I decide to get it.

I personally think this CD is great and their approach gives something fresh to hear than their previous albums. I downloaded when it was leaked and have been listening to it ever since almost nonstop. My brother didn't like the album but he has yet taken it out of his car and that's the only CD he's been listening to. Roughly a few days later he said it grew on him. If the album was enough to keep you listening to it over and over, I feel that they have done something right ;D.

I pre-ordered the album through iTunes because they offered 2 Bonus tracks:
1) What I've Done (Live) [Didn't care for this one]
2) No Roads Left [For those that didn't like the album too much, this song won't be enjoyable]

Only problem I have is buying 3 versions of the CD because of an Explicit Version and a Clean version. The last version is iTunes and their poor quality in audio...I wish they would've included No Roads Left in their cd release.

The track I felt that was out of place in the album was track #9 Valentine's Day. The rest was pretty much arranged nicely in the order they wanted it to be listened.

Hybrid Theory is best album. They've gotten worst with every album release. Only heard 2 songs from this album.Only liked one song… I think. I hear all the time while talking to people but never get a chance to pay attention. Don't remember the name but it has a fast tempo. Good song to conversate over, but will never pick it up from my local k-mart/wal-marx.

Its funny no one has mentioned Walmart here. I know Walmart likes to edit the music wherever possible - is Target the same way? I have a few CDs I wanna go buy, but I hate getting them from Walmart.

The only song on the album i decided to throw into my generic "listen to all the time" playlist was Bleed It Out.

The rest were good tho, just not that good.

I've only had the album for a little while but I both love/don't like it. It's going to be in my CD player for a while, I know that, but I think there needs to be more of the rock/rap sound they had before in it. I do like the new sound, don't get me wrong. It's a more mature sounding album, but when coupled with Chesters lyrics: "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH ME WAAAAAAAAAA" I just.. need something a little less highschool.

"Hands Held High" though, is an amazing song. Shinodoa needs to make more music.

It sound like they are trying to copy alot of different styles instead of sticking to their own.

I bought the special edition with the dvd extra and they touch on this. At first when making this cd they wanted to make a cd that pushes the limit yet stays in there boundaries. After taking some time to think about it, they realized that they shouldn't have boundaries in the first place. Sticking to the same sound was dull for them and its nice that they have done so.

I like it alot and hope more bands do this.

Oh and Alyada have you listened to any Fort Minor?
