here is what i have found and determined so far. after talking to the mission starter, who is a guy in the middle of a large courtyard. dont ask me the name, cuz i dont remember. im sure most of us have found him already. anyhow, the next stop is to the mithra in south docks area. also, if you have the npc quest from a while back finished, you can also finish that quest up after you get the first cutscene from the mission. the mithra tells you to find assault wardens which are posted up in ilrusi atoll, dvucca isle, and halvung. me and another person happen to find halvung first. without a map, this place is murder. good tip for everyone tho....vanadiel atlas has maps for a majority of the exp areas. seeing as this is an npc, chances are, this npc is gonna be at an exit/entrance. now, bhaflau thickets has a connection inside of halvung. i personally havent gotten there yet, but the way the map is for the thickets, it is probably an unaccessable area as like the mountain shelf that roc spawns on. i predict that the npc might be there.
also, throughout halvung, there are levers that need 4 people to use it. so dont even bother trying to do this mission without a small group. mob strength in these areas are DC to EM. so be careful

a 75 RDM here and those are the levels of mobs around.

Thanks.. so at least it won't be too easy for all the low levels to do this ;p

as long as you're good at keeping sneak and invisible up you're fine

majority of things are sight. however, there is some sneak mobs that you need to be aware of. best way to look at it is, expect everything to aggro

Did they add mobs that aggro to smell? So that the deodorize spell will finally have some use? :biggrin:

i was waiting for an attack by the tigers because of smell, but nothing that i noticed.

MO, tomorrow night, show me through to the Staging Point you went to, and I'll show you mine D:

i havent gotten to the staging point due to aggro and death, but im pretty sure i found it.

here is the map for the thickets area just outside of the city

here is the second map for the thickets. notice no real way to get from one area to another

now, here is the map for halvung

the way i got into halvung was through the woodlands entrance. its a safe bet to say that the npc is at the thickets exit a bit north

The second thicket map connects to Mamook. Thats where I went for my staging Point, it's in the circular area on the south part of the second map. Mamook zone outs to the branch off in the middle.

I think some mobs to aggro to smell. I was sneaking around Mamook, and one of them (forgot what class) aggroed me with Sneak and Invisible on.

Why do you say Deodorize has no use?...

Run the fuck away from a mob, get out of sight, deodorize, and they lose aggro, hence the use of it, because bstmen, and most mobs alike track based on Scent, when you get a link sometimes, if the WHM or w/e is quick enough to cast Deodorize, you'll lose aggro as long as you're out of sight/sound aggro range still

*sighs* i'm at the Easterly Winds mission and i can't figure out what i'm missing to get to the Jeuno Council Meeting CS... ; ;
