Mist Combos

Just was wondering since some peeps get really long chains is it just by luck or the higher the levelyour characters are the easier it is to get mist charges and skills to pop up?

Really just based on luck, getting the things you want to pop up, ie multiple mist cartridge recharges.

You also get luckier the more quickenings each character has

Yeah it's luck. at lvl 50ish i was easily popping out 25-35 combos but since then i haven't even been able to hit 20 lol. gotta love luck. Although i DID get a 11 chain just with penelo by herself. That was fucking amazing, neither of my other two characters got a since charge yet she got one every other turn.

ok was just wondering how the hell you can get those higher level aoe torrents after the combo is finished. My highest combo I think was about 15 ark blast I think was the aoe I got.

I beat the game already I thought maybe the higher level the easier it is to get better combos. I'm gonna start finishing up hunts that I haven't done.

Yeah I did something like that, though mine was because 2 of my characters had the thing where they couldn't use skills, or something like that.

The finishing thing is determined by how many quickenings of each level you used. Like I know black hole needs 4 lvl1, 4 lvl2, and 4 lvl3 quickenings. Luminescence needs 3 of each. Each one has a different amount it needs

I do it by staring fixedly at the corner and counting, when you charge you get 3 orbs, then just count ones you used so you know which characters are packing. When you know a character has 0-1 orbs left you just stare at the bottom right because the little orange icons show up before any words. No circle = mist charge, so I button mash that everytime. Usually get 20ish chain before my attention lags or my boyfriend interrupts me.
