I get a fuckton of emails in my inbox from Playonline begging me to come back to FFXI. After beating WoW, and finding myself bored as hell again in an MMORPG. I actually clicked a reply and asked them a question.

1. Can intentionally deleted characters be restored?

PO: Yes, in June we plan to have an event/applicaton process to restore your character at the point where you deleted your character.

Ok good, that means I can return to Quez and begin the long painful process of earning money again, since all my deleted character had was AF and misc shit.

2. Can characters that went to another server be restored onto their original server?

PO: Um, we'll get back to you. Wait a few days while I investigate.

Uh oh its a snag, if Mistaya can get transferred from Hades back to Quez, the dynamic duo will return

I hope we can have a linkshell to call home

We'll see how this goes...

You can always pay Square Enix to transfer your character to another world - I think the fee is $75.00....anyway - that has always been an option, that I think most people aren't aware of. A friend of mine tranfered his full character to Leviathan like 6 monthes ago...

I didn't know about this either, but I will look into it.

The reason it probably costs so much is to keep people from abusing transfers. For instance some guy gets a shitty rep and steals a pair of Strider boots, you don't want them hopping all over the servers thinking they can have a life of crime, or imagine how many players would flop from server to server on a whim if they could ruining server populations.

Another reason would be if you get a whole group of gil sellers to transfer.

Have someone like Lucifar jump servers for a few months, then come back here with probably a few billion gil, and totaly fuck up this server even more. :x
