Great game. Visuals could use some work but the gameplay itself is solid. If you owned a PS2 and are a baseball fan you probably played the show before, so yeah they didn't fuck up the PS3 version.

2k7 looks miles better, and from one sitting you would say plays better also. BUT 2k7 is more flashy and set to limited animations and camera angles. After playing MLB:TS enough you see the animations are more fluid and camera can help you at times. Plus road to the show is just the coolest thing i have seen added to a baseball game ever. I had to fight through AA, to AAA which just yesterday i was signed to the Mets. And the fight there is not just like other game "create a player" were you just place all stats to 100 and own.(tho you can do that in regular create a player style.)Road to the show mode you must develop your player through in game tasks were you get reward points, example: "The lead off runner reached base!! Induce a ground ball here!" the play style is set to fast fowars were you only see plays your player is involved in. My player being a pitcher im in most the game lol. That is by far the deepest option in any baseball game. All the other modes in the game are the norm, season, franchise ect. Only thing missing is HR derby lol

I just finished my first year as a starting pitcher. I went 4-0 in AA, 3-0 in AAA and 15-0 in MLB. I won Cy- Young award for NL. 1.20 ERA 145SO's. BUT get this bs.... i made only $33,000 my 1st year which is understandable because i was just potential. Mets said "We are so glad you want to re-sign with us!" and offered me $890,000 for 8years LMFAO. i was like um no. Checked who would offer more and wouldnt you know... Atlanta Braves offered me $3.3M for 4 years LMAO@Mets;; they will be missing this Cy-Young winner as i go for the repeat...Against them!
