Trying to better my WS on MNK, what gear should I be swaping in? Especially Feet since there really isn't anything I can think of

Sadly, there's really not a whole lot you can swap in for monk's weapon skills, most of their best WS gear is also their TP gear; especially on the feet, head, body and legs. You can try stacking on STR/VIT, but you'll almost always get much better results with attack/accuracy.

What level is your monk and what's some of the gear that you have now?
 
TP: WS:
head: W. Turban Shura
Body: Osode Osode
Hands: O.Kote O.Kote
Legs: B. Haidate Shura Haidate
Feet: Fuma Temple Gaitors (for dex, lolelvaan)
Waist: Brown Belt Warwolf belt

all other pieces stay the same.
 
If you are refering to Asuran fists, dex only subs as gimp acc since the ws cant crit. Rasetsu, usukane feet or the nyzul isle feet are your best bet for elvaans. I also wouldnt use osode for neither tp or ws.
 
use potent belt for WS. I'll assume you don't have dbody so I guess osode will have to do, but at places like mamools you'll probably want to use an SH or pbody for the accuracy, unless you have some really decked out gear aka snipers+1 on top of capped merits
 
I do have Shura Togi also but always thought Osode was end all be all for mnk.
 
seel the osode, buy some hq stuff. or use the money to buy a blackbelt. I wouldnt use osode for anything.

No, attack is THE stat for monk, STR is almost worthless to stack.

Ok. right now I macro in my AF gloves for boost, and then leave them on for WS. I also macro in a STR ring for WS. Would it be better to put my O.Kote back on, and leave my Ulthalum's ring(4acc,4atk) on for WS's then?

Head: I use Pahluwan Qalansuwa for Asuran Fists. 5 Attack and 7 Accuracy, it gets better results than Shura, at least for me.

Body: Start using Shura Togi for TP and Weaponskill.

Feet: If you can't get Usukane Sune-ate (best boots), try getting some Pahluwan Crackows.

Waist: Try messing around with Potent Belt if you're not hitting enough. I personally keep Black Belt on most of the time. If I find I'm having trouble with accuracy then I have another macro that's accuracy heavy.

Regarding the gloves: Boost with Temple, then switch to Kote/Melee before the weaponskill goes off.

Keep Ulthalam's on for Asuran Fists.

I do that, cept with bandomusha kote. A degree of str is needed, cause you still have the primary modifier of str vs vit, even if secondary modifiers are shitty as hell. BUt best top stick it in spots with low alternatives or where you get the str for free. Like shura haidate and shura kabuto. As a taru, your rse2 feet are awesome, since there are no good job specifik piece for mnk. Belt should give you some str, backpiece str comes free with atk. If you dont have faith torque or pcc you can use chiv chain. Rings are iffy, i guess it all depends on food choice, camp, # of brds and so on. But rings are the first spot i would put acc back on if i felt my acc was lacking.

this. just full time dbody, use the gil to buy BB items or sniper hq, pcc if you dont have one, whatever
 
asuran you wanna focus on acc and atk. cuz you may not ever get you highest with this setup, you going to get high consitency

head: shura > ohat
neck: chiv chain > pcc
ear1: merman's > brutal
ear2: merman's > diablo's
body: SH+1 > shura
hands: o.kote > bando
ring1: sniper's > rajas
ring2: sniper's > ulthalum or divisor when your 75
back: amemnt+1 > forager's > Charger Mantle
waist: brown belt > warwolf > black belt > life belt
legs: prince's slops > shura > Usukane Hizayoroi
feet: rse if applicable > denali > usukane sune-ate
ammo: rse if applicable > thipha sting

edit: dont sell your osode if you plan to do endgame with your mnk. used for maxed chi blasts and to some people when subbing drk to lose the hp down and gain mp

Roadkill, where are you getting these gear basis' from? I'm hoping those aren't rankings based on how good they are, since there's no way SH+1 is better than shura togi and that Usukane feet are in last place.

I didn't think anyone ever used monks anymore, chi blast is really pathetic damage for the time it takes to charge.
 
If you ever plan to do Salvage, keep your Osode. Its good for first floor, as the -HP from Shura can hurt rather bad when you already have half HP.

If you don't care about Salvage, sell it and get a Black Belt. It will help your MNK more then your Osode will.

MNK isn't her only job. I assume she'd keep the Osode anyway for RNG now that I think about it.

iirc, fix that if I'm wrong, I haven't looked at my monk's windower macros for a while so I'm a bit rusty lol
