I'm goofing around on a model viewer and I'm gonna try to make a Siggy. Is there anyway to copy the sprite into an editing program? I keep getting an ugly background of like blue or yellow when I try to get it into MS Paint or anything.
yeah... don't think acutie would be having this problem if they had photoshop... I just do select color >> eyedropper >> delete with photoshop, but for paint- it is a tad more difficult. I really don't think there is a way around that problem without a more sophisticated program.
for photoshop:
Select>>>Color Range>>>
Select what color you want to get rid of, in this case the background color.
Set the Fuzziness to 40 and that should just select the background color and not the outter pixels. Hit delete and your set to go.
You could use the free program floating around the internet called GIMP. I've never used it and i don't know if it's still free but from what I've seen it can pull off some cool stuff.
/sigh GNU Image Manipulation Program www.gimp.org
I'm not joking, it is a real program. Sadly the first time some asked me "What do you use, GIMP?" and didn't realize it was a program and got pissed lol.
