Mog Locker

and third, what is the max space you can currently get for it?
 
A Mog Locker is essentially another Mog Safe, but can only be accessed through the Aht Urghan zones. You get one by completing the first mission for Treasures of Aht Urghan. It costs 1 Imperial Bronze Peice(2-6k on AH) to rent it for one week, real time. It holds 30 to begin with, but can be expanded by traded certain Imperial Currency to the guy you get it from. I think max becomes like 50-60? Not really sure.
 
Oh nice. But what happens if you leave for a weak, and have items in the locker. Are they lost since you didn't repay the locker fee?
 
You get a mog locker by becoming a mercenary, which is done by finishing the first mission as Maguss said. The locker originally holds 30 items, but you can upgrade the locker to hold 40 items by trading 4 Imperial Mithril Coins. Then, after the next conquest update(Sunday at 11 AM est) you can upgrade to 50 storage by trading 2 Imperial Gold Coins. The lease is 1 Imperial Bronze Coin per real-life week, but it's very easy to just get several week's worth of coins and just stock up on your lease. Also, if you don't want to spend any gil on either the upgrades or the lease, you can exchange Imperial Standing(IS) for Imperial coins from an NPC in Whitegate near the Mog House.

Edit: you can also only access your mog locker from the Aht Urhgan city zones, just like you can only access your storage from your home nation.

Nope. You just can't access them again until you put a lease back on the locker. I've stored all my coffer/chest keys in mine, haven't opened it in over a month.

Nothing is lost, you just do not have access to the items; pay a bronze coin and you regain access. I laughed when people in my linkshell had their mog locker's lease expire and all of their bronze coins were inside their locker.

When my wife and myself both did the 1st upgrade we needed mythril as well.
 
Everyone but shaunessy is saying it's mithril, so he probably just forgot that it was mithril. I remember it was mithril for me as well, because I traded gladdy a gold coin for 4 mithril and 2 silvers. Rank doesn't effect any quests or npc's other than what you can buy for CP/IS, and having it different for each character also doesn't make any sense.
 
well, I'm not 100% sure, but I remember it being silver for me aswell. Was a long time though, so I may be wrong.
