When speaking about Alleg, I know she hasn't sided with anyone in this thread.

I made no such post about the multiple use of "fuck" in a post that I recall. I may be wrong, so point me where it is if I am.

Yes but it was originally questioned as to how many times you could use 'Dribble' in a single post, therefore my tomfoolery stands true and absolute :P

ON Topic (for once): It seems that one of you is trying too hard, while the other expects too much. As for the Staff vs. Club argument... Personally I go for Light Staff. Templar's has the +C.Pot. as well but I'm just used to staves and I dont feel like changing my macros.

Before Templar's, as an effective WHM (stacking up as much beneficial stats as possible) a Light/Apollo's would have been a far more positive addition than any +MND club/maul you could aquire.

Might just be me, I dunno.

moreontopic: im with the sex goddess on this one... apollos > templar, reason being apollos serves more jobs then just WHM (ie. BST, BRD, SMN, RDM)

What spells do WHM cast in exp that they need the 10/15% bonus from?

Unless you're on undead and bursting off Light chains, the staff can sit on the shelf. It's a hardly noticeable difference going from staff to t.mace+shield but just another one of those areas you can finish upgrading once your whm hits endgame.
 
Templar/shield is marginally better for Cure V and damage reduction for certain fights if you need it.

For everything else... meh. Cures I-IV dont stand to benefit much from additional MND, and you'd be better off using Staves for Divine and Enfeebling Magics.
 
For Curing. Because +10 pot. + enhanced magic and acc means more powerful cure. i can break 500 on cure IV.

The hidden elemental effects of Light/Apollo's does not affect cures. Only the Cure potency +% does.

yes and so do the days, and obi's, and moon phases, and weather. Templar Mace alone with it's +5 MND (im a taru i need the mnd) and cure potency alone doesn't make it better. But attaching a shield increases -spell interruption rate as well as what the shield can block (depending on its type).

I'm not the perfect WHM and I occasionally land a high curing spell thats gonna give me hate. But i'd rather have a shield by my side helping with blocking then a staff that isn't gonna do anythingon defense.
