do the bcnm, it's just about trioable if your really paying attention and have a rdm. went 3/6 on vine last week
 
you can do one of three things.


1) search whore ordelle caves.. find the tod and camp it.
2) afk in ordelle caves for TOD (i wouldnt recommend this as it popped one day and no one was camping and over an hour period, killed me and homepointed me an hour later, lol)
3) do the bcnm.

i did #2 and then camped it. killed on day#4 w/ no competition.

not the first time i've camped this. I'm 0/12 on claim and I know how to go afk for the ToD. The BCNM is beyond me because I cant get the help from ppl @ that lv, even from my own loving LS.

It doesn't hurt to simply ask in case someone had been willing to share and actually help someone else. Thanks for the hostility. I didnt ask how to get the vine, but if anyone coud share the ToD. I have it now anyway by working for it as I was doing when I posted the question in the first place. Didnt hurt to cover my bases....

btw i did #2 and had the exact same result, came back to find myself in Jeuno.

I still need this myself. Its real tough to keep ToD and I know how you feel, cause folks like us cant be in the game 'anytime' we want. We can only go for the claim when its in a convieniant window which sometimes wont happen for a week or so. Having a busy RL can be the suxx0rz sometimes.

On a lighter note, once your done with the ToD, if you dont mind PM'ing it to me once you get your vine (whenever that may be), I'd be really thankfull.

Soon, i'm gonna start leaving my character in game to camp the ToD myself. All I need is the vine to finally finish up that quest.
 
oh ok, my highest is 57 war, i know a 56 mnk who needs this also. If im too low i understand XD, but if somehow we can work with lower levels then {sweets}

i wasnt hostile. i was being realistic... asking for handouts is pretty cheap imo. theres already a thread devoted for stuff like this instead of clogging up general like everyone else. its actually stickied.

Thats an issue with most forums, i'm not going to search through 100's of threads for one that might be there for a simple question I had. You're right about asking for hand-outs, however having camped this many many times I wasnt asking for a hand-out as much as i was asking for help. If i never tried it would be a hand-out. I just thought I'd see if someone would help while I was camping ToD myself. Which surprisingly someone actually did O.O

Thanks for sharing the thread location, but for w/e reason I wouldnt have thought of looking under quests-missions section for NM help, even if it was for a quest. A "general" question in the "general" section just somehow seemed appropriate.

But I admit I won't bother asking this type of question again. In the words of Skaw in the thread you shared.

ToD is time of death, when a monster dies or despawns, mainly used on 21-24hr mobs like argus and marbolger... np tyrisian lol even tho i didnt do much and congrats
