Anyway I make a party and we have a whm, we are 52-56 synced to 55. We are killing fast when the whm dcs. I am bard 53 ballad 1 only. Ballad 2 is 55. So the rng says they know a rdm. This rdm gets there and all he seems to know how to do is BITCH. Moan groan OMG where is my ballad.....I am singing to the melee when his 1 song wears. I have my pattern, I have my rotation. This guy starts on about well if the bard would ballad me..... I have no ballad, you did not ballad me. Blah blah blah...It was down for the total of 3 song casts. I made sure everyone got their song, and he was standing there saying I was not casting on him. Very annoying. DEAR GOD it is only 1 tick. Also he did not have Protect 3, nor did he keep refresh up on him, nor did he have sanction refresh, nor a glace. So I tell him if you like I can get a back up healer and leave. I got a dancer and left cause I know my job and we were doing just fine with the whm. With in minutes of me leaving he is bitching again because I did not get them a bard. Then he starts to tell people how to do their jobs. Before I hit the zone he dies.
MAYBE if he focused on his job..... BTW everyone else was AWESOME. Tank held hate, melee did great dmg, the rng lived! Moral of the story..... before you bitch about how someone else does their job, make sure you are doing yours. Also anyone recall when rdm get composure? he was synced to 55.

I'm sorry you had a jerk in your party Kery. One of the reasons I don't like to exp in groups anymore is because of people like that. It sounds like he was pissed off because he had to main heal instead of being the typical party RDM.

Somebody asked me if I enjoy any kind of exp now, with tales like this abound its no wonder I perfer to solo exp in foV or campaign/Beseiged. Too many idiots out there it seems and whereas they used to get sorted out at lower levels like Dunes or qufim now thanks to lv sync and smn burns they get to 75 so much faster and force us to tolerate their stupidity at higher lv's now.

Nah, shitty players are shitty no matter what. If you have a great tank, healers can by without needing to work too hard, if you have great damage dealers, tanks don't have to work as hard, etc. While I agree that level sync has indeed hurt people at lower levels (My samurai still doesn't have capped gkt for the level, despite my best efforts I'm still about 14 under) but the person in question just sounds like a pretty pretty princess RDM. You know the sort, the ones that figure because they're the RDM, everyone else has to work harder to keep them pleased. I once partied with a samurai who we shall just call Jade R... No, wait, too obvious. J. Rattlesnake who insisted on getting haste right away, despite having a ninja in the party.

The flip side is, thanks to level sync, you don't have to worry if that douche of a healer is the only one your level seeking. Friends with the job are nice to be able to call in for favors, and if the exp is decent, most anyone will sync back down to the sweet spots right around 60.

And about Jaderattlesnake, yeah, I see the guy and I laugh a little inside. Gotta say though, level sync has made people pretty diva-ish. I remember the other day I synced down to 35 on my SCH in Garlaige, and the BST (who was level 34) was throwing a hissy fit because they didnt sync to him..........I was like, WTF man, you're a BST wtf you doing in PT? And on top of that, why the hell you bitchin about one level? Before level sync we used to make pts with a 2-3 level gap

My biggest pet peeve in parties is when I"m main healing regardless if its WHM, SCH or RDM is:

MP SPONGES

If you know you are not adequately setup to avoid some of the damage you can take. Go home now.

If I have to Cure IV/V bomb you cause you don't wanna sub nin for the 2+ more STR you get from subbing war (yes you read that right) or cant keep up with Seigan/Third please don't bitch that you're dying or not staying healing cause I will get fed up and let your ass die. Because that seems to be the only way to let people know they aren't doing it right.

I always hated when I was invited for a party on my BST and then got yelled at because I wasn't charming the "Tough" monsters to help the party out. Over and over again. Everytime someone invited me to a party I got that shit. Dumbasses.

And yes, I know BSTs are solo and I usually did that. Cept if someone asked me to party I figured why not.

Ya know what I enjoyed, Miros? Those lower to mid levels where Bst + pet just blows any other DD outta the water. Whenever I got an invite at those levels, I always thought to myself, "Yes, I will grant you the boon of [Monster] hateless damage."

Now that we got Snarl, I imagine it's even crazier. Of course, by then we've only got about ten levels left to really shine. ><

Something that really pisses me off is that I'm starting to see more and more Smns with the BP-4 Augment on their ACP body. It's such a complete fucking waste of a spot for a better augment.
