Is it not where I said it was? I'm asking seriously... I doubt admins have any different profile fields but maybe this option isn't available to users.

I don't see why my postcount has anything to do with it. I was top postcount before I was given mod status, and I didn't know the system existed until after Reeve had already implemented it.

Usefulness is another moot argument. The national banners play no viable role on the forum; we have no proof anyone is from the nation they display as a banner. By your criteria, these banners should be tossed as well.

Alas, things don't need to be useful to exist - some things exist for fun. If you're not enjoying the feature as much as others, then as mentioned: don't use it. I'm sure the ability to disable exists in your profile.

I personally want to keep the reputation around, but I decided to look for the reputation thing, and i can't find it either. Any way you can do like a SS to show where it would be?

It's there for me. It's under options, not profile; but it's showing for me.

It figures that the only people who don't want the rep system are those who either hardly have any, or are red. Hellstrom is probably tired of people rating down his idiocy. It just comes off more as jealousy than any real problem with the system when the only people who "hate" it are those who don't have much/any rep at all. Basically their tone says that they're not one of the "cool" kids with a big rep bar, so they want the whole system gone.

Yeah, it's not completely indicative of your worthiness to the boards, but that doesn't mean that it wouldn't have some relevance to your worthiness either. You might not be the person with all of the answers who can solve any problem, even if you're just the forum clown who makes everyone laugh, that's still providing worth to the boards and you deserve some e-peen.

9/15 of my latest rep changes are because people agreed with what I said(or were thanking me for helping them with their problem/question); 4 are laughing at my jokes, or thanking me for posting a picture; one is just someone making a comment and didn't want to make it a rate-down;the last one is Tenia "rating me down" because her opinion of me has dropped(oh no). Hell, 2 of them are thanking me for owning Hellstorm as bad as I did in some of my posts; as I often do. Based on that limited sample, more than enough people use it for legitimate reasons than "just to rate up a friend."

Well looks like the problem's solved then. Now the whiny bitches can shut up and we can get back to the discussion of more e-peen dots for the people who like the system, please. Cmdr, make it happen.
