More of the same

Yeah, dude. I saw this the other day. This shit pisses me off so much. We wouldn't be in this mess if it wasn't for this, artificially low interest rates for extended periods of time, and borrowing billions every day from Asia. If we're worried about depression, just wait until hyperinflation hits.

This should be bumped. Nice post. Maybe a different title would get more attention :P.

I'm not the biggest Glenn Beck fan, but I'm not going to be dismissive of what he's saying here. Things are going to get interesting. . . I hope I keep my job though it all.

my point is this everything seems to be done these days to prop up the stockmarket and keep the dow above 8000 (seems to be the current floor). But does it matter if the dow is worth 8000 when it costs 10 dollars for a loaf of bread. There is an economist i have really respected for a long time that has been predicting that by time this is over the dow will be worth 1 ounce of gold(something thats price cannot inflate due to intrinsic value). When the bubble was at its peak of 14,164.53 it was worth ~45 ounces of gold. Right now the dow is worth ~9 ounces of gold which shows just how much farther some think that the dow has to fall (1/5th of its peak value but still 9x where it is believed to be going). The problem is that the rest of this fall will not be shown in the value of the dow but in the devaluation of the currency.

I just fear that when its all over people will be standing there saying look we saved it the dow is still worth 8000 dollars. Then the year after that its worth 20000 cause the dollar isnt worth shit.

Eh i dont mind glen beck and honestly as of late he is one of the few people who seems to see things the same way as i do.
