Mortal Kombat Vs. Street Fighter

What else can you say about MUGEN?
Has this been out for some time now?
Any way to get my hands on it? :-D
 
My friend Seppeku plays this all the time on huge ass monitors at work. There's literally thousands of different character skins you can download. They've everything from Final Fantasy characters, all the way to a 7-Up Logo to fight with. He sent me a video of a 2v1 fight. Tom Hanks and Cloud versus Psycho Shredder. Granted, Psycho Shredder is the ultimate character because of these insane wave moves he unleashes. And when I write Shredder, I mean the one from Ninja turtles. It's a bitch to actually start up Mugen if you are a computer novice, but if you ever actually manage to get it started up, prepare to waste countless hours downloading new fighter packs and owning your friends with the craziest fighter setups that could make even the coldest woman on the earth have a digital orgasm.
 
I take it that there are SNK and capcom and powerstone characters availible for download? i beleive i found something to do...

Mugen is awesome. You can make the most insane battles ever limited only by the imagination of the people who create character packs for it.
 
Wow, I haven't played MUGEN in a long time. I was pretty big into it (but never good at it) back in my early years of high school. My friend and I used to spend all our time in our computer class upgrading MUGEN and fighting eachother. =P I should really learn how to make a MUGEN character.
 
I remember mugen although i never had teh attentionspan to start it up. ok TIme for me to go dowload it only all my freinds computers for nonstop fighting.

wow.. I hate fighter games but this one looks like it could be amusing for a long time :P
 
Yea I saw the car in the line up. LMAO.

It sort of reminds me of what Sega did with their so called ultimate fighting game for the Sega Saturn which debuted characters from Virtua Fighter, Fighting Vipers, and even a car from one of Sega's greatest racing game hits.

Till this day though, Virtua Fighter games are still made though.
Too bad they don't have storyline, like Street Fighter.
I always find the little skits amusing.

I think my old P1 Sony Viao computer may have a gamepad attached to it.
I didn't get a chance to download during the weekend.
I'll see if I can get up on it this week.

Is this game all on the desktop?
Can it connect to some kind of server if you want to play head-to-head with other challengers, or its all remote?
