Moto Droid

I just got the Moto Droid. After tinkering with it for hours and hours last night, I must say, I like it much more then the Iphone. This thing is 100% customizable. It's insane what you can do it with it really. Also it comes with Google turn-by-turn navigation which is awesome. Everything is voice activated on this phone too. Speech-to-text. Google search, Google Voice..so much stuff can be done without typing!

I think i downloaded about 30 apps last night lol.

Hopefully they'll fix the auto-focus bug by the time my New Every 2 is up in March.

Well I haven't had hardly any problems and i've downloaded a ton of apps. I have one where it will listen to your radio and it will tell you the artist and album if you don't know. Another called Shopsavvy where the camera turns into a barscanner, where you scan barcodes and it does price matching.

The Turn-by-Turn navigation is much better then the cheap ones you buy at stores. Google maps street view shows actual satellite photo's of the landmarks. Like i put in my dad's address and a photo of my dad's drive way popped up lol.

I know in the first two weeks of Dec. Android 2.0 is getting it's first update..so whatever big bugs their are, hopefully that will fix them.

I downloaded emulators' for the SNES, GBA, NES, and have 100's of games.

Not sure yet, but I did download a Mangadroid app, which has about every manga title to date lol

I hope they do that soon. There's Kindle for Iphone, So I'm just giving it time. Would be nice so I can just dl whatever book I'm reading to my kindle and my phone. Sometimes I don't wanna lug my kindle around with me everywhere.

All in all, I'm really happy with my Droid. The turn by turn nav works great, and I haven't had too many issues with apps that don't work on the Droid.
