Well. I managed to download the programs to convert the music. Though the final program used is in Japanese. Plus the instructions aren't complete it seems. I select the file to convert to .BGW though I don't know if there is a button to start the conversion, or it does it automatically. Anyone who has done this, would be greatly appreciated to get some help.
 
There should be a button you click that'll convert the file for you, but last time I used it, it error'd whenever I converted music, so I don't know. I could look around if you still need help, as i've helped canitoch (sp) with his music swapping before.
 
I don't see the button for it. Only the button to pick the song to convert. Also, the list on the right? Does the song number I select automatically swap out for the song? If so, I just totaled my in game music.
 
Forgive me if my explaination doesn't make sense. Are you using FFXI music converter? (I think thats what it's called, mine is in japanese too)

Well basically the top part of it converts the music into .BGW. The number thats next to it, basically names the converted song to that. The default number should be 100, so if you convert the song, the song file would be called 100.bgw.

TO answer your question, no it doesn't automatically swap out the songs for you. You have to do that yourself, and if you need help you can ask me. BE SURE TO BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL MUSIC INTO A FOLDER!! Just in case you want to replace it!

So enlighten me. This program makes regular songs you download into background music on FFXI? So if I wanted Bon Jovi to play every time I was engaged I could do that?
 
I'd love to know how to do this so I could convert RO music to all FF zones. Anyone got like a little guide with a download?
