I just have to ask really quickly.. outta complete curiosity since I see this thread all the time popping up.. why does this thread exist? do people really care what you're listening to at that very minute? it's just soo.. odd.. lol (by the way, calm yourself with a response as I know some of you LOVE to turn things into flames fast)

see, you're the kinda person I expected to say something to insight a flame if you can. You don't want to answer, don't say anything, mkay? My question was simple, it's not really bothering me, it's just I keep seeing it pop up, checked it out, and then everyone posting what they are playing every minute? Do you really have that little to do that you will keep posting what you're listening to as you change it? It seems like a completely pointless thread that's just a PC+1 thing.
 
What we should do is make posts in The Lounge and/or Reality Sinks In not count towards our overall post count. It works perfectly at other forums I go to. Of course, if nobody here cares about their post count.....we shouldn't bother.

I don't really think anyone gives two shits about their post count going up. I like this thread because it gives you a chance to find out what kind of music people listen to, and if your ingame friends have similar intrests to your own. If this seems pointless to you, don't click the thread?

if that's the case you could ask the people what they like through PM or IM or whatever.. or why not a thread of "post your playlist" of some sorts or even "post your top 20" would get you a general idea of what most people like. It really just seems odd of a thread. And I can't help but laugh at you sneaky. You seriously have some sorta large rod up your ass since you are always trying to flamebait.

Edit: and by the way, I am not saying get rid of the thread or shit like that, I was just curious as to the purpose as it really seems to not have a good one and, if it is a purpose such as Pasquale says than there seems like there could be a better way of going at it.

I get what you're saying, but its not like the internet is running out of room, so who cares if we waste a little time and space posting songs were listening to right now (B-52's - Love Shack).

So we can be elitists. Or, just to see if anyone in general is digging our music. I am not going to pm and im everyone to find that out. Also its nice to sometimes just look some of the artists up.

I agree with some of the responses. I post here because I like to see what other members like for music. I tend to listen to metal, rock, dark music... If I see someone else that listens to that same stuff I do, more then likely we will have things in common...

Why does it bother you so much Ele? I mean who cares what we post about as long as its not flamming you or your friends, you shouldn't care....

you see, I didn't care to make waves or shit, I don't care to piss in anyones cheerios nor did I ask for this thread to stop and shit, I just wanted to know why. I asked a simple question. You came and had an attitude which is flamebaiting. Though I guess it's just natural to you. Seriously, you ever reread what you write at all cause most of it comes off as flamebaiting.
