Blabbermouth.net did indeed retract the story, and no further mention of Lindemann's departure has been made.
In the early afternoon of July 17th, En Esch made an official statement, regarding the Rammstein front man position, on SLICKIDIOT.com stating "...ALTHOUGH IT SOUNDS INTERESTING, IT IS NOT TRUE."
