So for Christmas I got my pick of 12 free cd's from this website, so I've come to you guys for suggestions. I've got 5 right now that I'm getting for sure, and I could easily pick 7 more, but I wanna make sure I get stuff I really want, and not have regrets and wish I had gotten something else instead. So, does anyone know of any groups they'd think I'd like? If you haven't been keeping track of the songs I post - I like metal, as well as some old hippie shit (jefferson airplane, janice joplin, jimi hendrix, etc). I really like progressive metal like Tool, so if anyone can suggest something like them I'd be ecstatic. I also like heavy/death metal, from Pantera to DevilDriver to Arch Enemy. So let me know what you like in these genre's and I'll check it out and see if I like it too.

Opeth, Death, Anthrax, Dying Fetus, Danzig, and Morbid Angel is what I can think of off the top of my head that you'd probably like. Of course I don't know the extent of your collection. If you go with Death Symbolic, Sounds of Perseverance, and Scream Bloody Gore are probably their best albums. Anthrax is a tough one for some thrash if you haven't heard Anthrax before I would look into a best of CD although I really liked We've Come For You All. Opeth is just beastly so any CD from them is pretty damn good mix of prog and other kinds of metal. Danzig is just sweet. Dying Fetus and Morbid Angel are more of a death metal I don't know how to define them, but it's pretty good for a new metal.

Yeah I'm already an Anthrax fan, but I haven't heard much of anything from the rest of those groups. Opeth I've heard alot of good things about so I'll probably get one of thier albums. I'll check the others out too, thanks man.
