MVP during my Kreutzet Camping

Hey everyone!

I've been camping Kreutzet for the Sirocco Kukri this whole weekend. Started Tuesday night helping a friend get his Dagger. He got his Wednesday night so I continued after with that ToD.

11 Windows, 5 Claims and 1 Drop later, I am finally done! :D

I wanted to shout out some thanks to everyone in my shell that came out to help throughout the weekend, specially Fieryblizzard, who got the ToD in the first place.

The point of this thread though is to thank the person that really made my success possible. Ferque camped 9 out of the 11 windows with me and even camped ToD during one window I couldn't attend. He claimed 3 of our claims and succeeded in soloing Kreutzet on his PLD/NIN twice with Drimergirl and me backing him up on WHM and SMN. One of these times being the final drop early morning on Monday.

He had no reason to put this much effort into helping as I only knew him through an LS mate and he still spent most of his weekend camping with me. Thank you, Ferque! Now I need to a couple more levels to equip my new baby. >:D

Contradiction, but mweh, nice to hear you have one. I gave up on mine.
 
To be honest, I was a bit wary of the fact that Ferque's presence. I know that he kinda fucked up badly in the past. I hope the person who needed that Dynamis item has since got it.... That being said, he was nothing but 100% on this camp. I was present a couple of times, but he was present 9 bloody times! It's not that he was a great friend of Soul's beforehand either. He did all this for no gain.

He is very aware of his position on the srver and went to great pains to say that he wanted to make his name cleaner by helping people whenever he could. I personally would give him a chance, but understand others who wouldn't.

...but.... he can't half chat a lot!

I have given ferque a chance when I ran ZNMs and he performed 100%. He is striving hard to fix his rep on this server. He has put up with a lot of rules special for him and hasnt complained once.
 
Kind of funny that on a good times thread, just because Ferque's name is brought up (9 times he camped it for/with you Soulstar?), it moves the attention from what is a GOOD time, to a hidden blame lol.

I dont know Ferque..............couldnt care less.

Grats on your damn fine Kukri Soulstar =). Seems more than well deserved =)
 
Grats! I'm not allowed to talk about my camping experience with this NM <.<

I went out one night to get ToD, he popped within an hour, LS mates came out and helped, and I got the drop XD this while a few weeks before several of our LS THFs (I was 63 at the time) had been extensively camping. So, while they were glad to help, I'm not allowed to remind them that I got my knife for an hour's worth of work <.<;;

If he were more popular prior to the incident, I'm sure all would've been forgiven.

Many grats on the drop, soul. Now you have 3 things in the game and rl that will make you jump. (you know what i mean by that lol)

36hrs of no sleep 3 kills 3 drops,,, you know what happens now that have spoken, I'm cutting them both off
 
I have no clue what this item is but a big congratulations to you! It sounds like a pain to obtain. Rhyme...sorry.

Some dregs of society can't handle anyone being happier than them, especially if they can't understand why, and thus they attempt to drag society down with them.

Personally, I think the small goals that lead up to big goals are awesome ^^ I think that the help Moriarti, Zylia and ... (god its been so long I don't recall who all) gave me the reasons to make the most of my THF and do them proud for being a part of it.

Once again, wtg Soulstar! keep up the momentum ^^ THF is where it's at!

This seems to imply people were leaving harsh comments about the knife, they weren't, it is in fact a very good dagger and most people are well aware of that.

Congratulations on the drop, i hope to get it myself one day.
