My Anakin costume

Hey guys, gearing up for MegaCon 07, i decided to go as Anakin Skywalker this year.

Here is what i got so far.

Im missing the belt and the lightsaber, and yes i plan on shaving.
 
Very nice attire, better than what i've seen on shows and stuff.

But since H Christensen spoiled Anakin for me I would've liked if u went as the Emperor or Darth Vader. lol

thats cool, Id like to have some of the blue jedi robes though, but thas just me. Good work!

I think its a pretty cool costume, did it take alot of work?
 
I'm not trying to be a douchebag, just figure I'd wanna know people's honest opinions not just positive ones. I mean afterall, I'm just some online guy who he has no reason to be embarrassed if I don't like his costume so if I have a negative opinion better from me than someone he actually knows.
 
oh very nice! Did you make it yourself? if so great choice of materials. I hope you have/had fun!
 
Ok, I realized what was making it look off to me.

Your belt needs to be up higher and a bit larger, and the shirt needs to be closed together nearer to the top. Also needs a cape. The trouble is the Anakin costume kind of reminds me of a Klingon outfit from the old star trek series so distinctive characteristics will probably help people recognize you as Anakin and not a Klingon.

Well the belt is not ready, this is just "so far" expect more pictures when its complete.... And i am going without a cloak, so i can be more "battle ready

I Cosplay at anime conventions, we have a few each year but due to being poor and work evil I only go to one a year. This year im going as Valor form Sora, and Axel from Org 13.

And if you really wanted to look like a Jedi, some months at the gym slimming down and getting some muscle definition would help more then some stupid clothes.
 
Who worries about looking stupid at one of those conventions? Srsly... Looks good, IMO .. for what it is. Hope you get it where you want it and have a blast at the con.

How hard was that?
