Has anyone been able to boost any stats on their chocos? Ive been feeding and caring for the damn thing every day, and its still poor in every catagory. I think it needs to get beat.
chrono fantasy said:Yeah, I believe that too, you have to wait for adolescent form. I don't know anyone else who has past all poor stats.
Rorschach said:lol I still dont even know how to tell the damn thing a story even though i have the key item.
Winklewil said:There are actually a number of people who've reported that one or more of their chocobo's stats have raised to "sub-standard," and even a couple that have gotten all the way to "standard." Most people are still poor in everything, though, and the ones with any stat changes at all are folks spending an arm and a leg to feed them nothing but Vomp carrots, or something else.

By the 1 month standard, the chick should grow into something rideable in the next 12 days. Not that i'm impatient at all, but I just can't forsee it being ready to go in 12 days. Maybe i'm just skeptical.
I just want to be able to scold my chocobo.Type of Care - Effect
Watch over the chocobo -Strengthens bonds of affection. Places very little stress on the chocobo
Tell a story - Strengthens bonds of affection and trains mental faculties. Telling various stories may have a beneficial effect for the chocobo.
Scold the chocobo - Disciplines the chocobo. Slightly weakens bonds of affection.
Compete against others - Strengthens bonds of affection, but depletes stamina. Entertains a bored chocobo.
Go on a walk - Strengthens bonds of affection, but depletes stamina. The chocobo may meet someone on its travels!

And my chocobo just beat the shit out of theirs in a race.
