now i know ulli is considered an nm... but he is a little shit and probably the hardest nm i have ever seen... any who... while i was xp'ing this guy pop unfortunally 2 of our pt members where in jeuno swiching stuff up but we pulled b4 the other hnm ls that was there.. and it only took what felt like forever but we beat it... and i couldnt believe i actually tanked it... more like provoked it and ran like hell... but still it was the most exiciting thing i have ever done in this game so far and it was by far the most adrenilan (sp???) pumping thing i have yet to experience also... most of u probably look at this and laugh but i had to put this out here because im so excited.. im so excited i dont even care that my pt broke up 10 min after leaving me at 4k tnl to 75.. plus i got a pretty cool axe outta it but that wont be used for awhile when my drk gets that high

any ways thanks for reading to my probably boring story to u

jinbond is a real prick... it's bad enough to not lend a hand, but it's worse to point and laugh about it. maybe you dont know what i'm talking about. we arrived out in middle trying to get middle times for pops, and had 2 adds, our other tank was downstairs and the tank that was there went down. and all thats spamed is -jinbond gets out a bag of popcorn- or something along those lines....fucking asshole. I'm not really sure why we are still polite in sky. you guys were all low enough to cure bomb and steal hate. but thats bad karma so we dont.

but all problems with them aside, gratz on kiteing ulli. wasn't the best but it's your first time and you did well :wink:
 
killing shit shorthanded in sky is fun, I remember one time we did MG with 6, only one blm, one rdm, pld, me(rng) and 2x sam. No deaths till the end when the melee went nuts on that bitch and she started pwning us but SAM 2hour finished her off.
 
For fucks sake, he has already posted he wants a HNM/Endgame LS, he is unsure of Merits and has a low postcount, can't you tell he is new to the endgame scene? So he makes one fuckup and you all jump on him on a GOODTIMES thread. Correct politely, keep this time of asshattery to flameboard.

I fail to see how any off these quotes has anything to do with this guy being happy he tanked Ulli for the first time and thought it was fun.

Good job ceas, Ulli is really fun to do with not many ppl, You should try it with 1whm, 1brd, 1nin, 1mnk.. It takes a long ass time.. very very fun and worth the experience tho.

If none of you have sky ls I'm sure you can sell that shit for a pretty penny.

Ulli is an NM and fun to fight and hard to claim. Not sure why you guys jumped on this guy but he had fun and is posting about it. Good for him enjoying something in this game instead of complaining. Not everyone has been in sky for 2 years like most of us.

Yea he's lucky. As long as he learns that sky is overrated before he starts he'll be ok :D
 
Yeah and Congrats on getting that Gaxe off it, in all the times i've been in parties that have farmed for ulli i have NEVER seen that Gaxe drop.
 
I have the G.Axe and no jobs that can use it. Also got the axe to drop yesterday when we got Ulli - grats Peppy.

Sky is not overrated. Some of the best gear comes from sky and it is usually where you develop your skills as a team/linkshell to take on the harder HNMs. 90% of my merits have come from camping Ullikimi or Ro'Maeve water. I took a break from sky for quite awhile but now I am up there teaching rookies where to go and how to farm and I am really enjoying it. I have every piece of sky gear I will ever use but it is still fun to claim Ullikimi with other shells around. It is also refreshing to see fresh bodies in sky eager to farm so they can get their endgame gear and it is refreshing to see people excited about working for/earning their gear.

If we had a spot for a pld I would definately consider the original poster for our shell because he seems eager to do these things and excited for these fights. Anyone looking for a Pld should consider this guy.

Grats ceas I made that pt he was in but to due tome zone confusion I was late to another appointment. I agree sky is over rated i only been seriouse bout I for about a month too so that sais something about it. Some of the best gear comes from sky look at jeiger he has everything he could possibly need from sky excluding crimson ginger gauntlets. All I need from sky now is osode and baykkus pants whitch is gonan take a while and im done with sky to focus on my dynamis af stuff and CoP. Ceas youll enjoy sky more than I do sometimes whenever you get a ls im a ranger and offen stuck wide scanning for zip but you acually get some action and sometimes skill up so enjoy what ever ls you join GJ
