My friend with Cystic Fibrosis

Well my good friend with Cystic fibrosis died 3 days before my 18th birthday and they posted it in the paper the day after my birthday. I would just like to say the Cystic fibrosis is a very real thing and i would like it anyone could please give just a dollar to help find a cure.

That is my friend and i've known him for about 11 years and he was younger then me.
I too have C.F and i am going down the same path as my friend so please if you ever get a chance help find a cure.

CF is very sad.

Sorry to hear about your loss and know a lot of people out there are racing to find a cure and aren't far off. I think you have posted about this before (I have CRS myself), so once again stay strong and you'll make it. People with CF are living a lot longer than 20 years ago.

Myrrh, I found this today, not sure if you have seen it already:

Studies look to sea for cystic fibrosis treatment @ CNN

Two studies published Wednesday in the New England Journal of Medicine report that cystic fibrosis patients who inhaled a specially mixed saltwater solution at least twice a day had half as many hospitalizations for lung problems and significantly improved their ability to clear mucus from the lungs.

I found that out when i lived in boston from the worlds top doctor on C.F
