My goodbye post.....a little late.

I left FFXI in December but decided not to make an official goodbye thread before I was sure that I would not come back to the game.

And I wont come back. So here goes...

Over the past 5-6 years, I have been a very dedicated FFXI player.
Not the kind that was all about gear or were going for the coolest shell. Not at all. My first year in FFXI were all about camping LL, VE, Ho Mjuu and other mobs like that.
The reason why I camped these things were because I wanted gils to start up my Ranger. Ranger was my first job to 75 and I loved every minute that I spent leveling it up. It probably was not the best Ranger ever, but I enjoyed it and it did the job.

During that first year or so I was in a shell called Dragonarmy - that is where I made my very first friends. These friends are the ones I want to thank first:
Tenia - I love you Ten. You always were there for me.
Byla - Tenias husband and a fantastic guy! Thank you for all the memories Byla. You are probably one of the best Blms we will ever see in FFXI - just my humble opinion.
Veralynn - We lost contact but I want to thank you for being one of my first friends in FFXI.
Achates - Somehow we managed to always stay in contact with eachother. My mentor in FFXI and my friend - thats Achates.

I will say that you definitely made Fury alot more fun. I still remember each and every conversation that we had began with "DANISHGUY!!!!!!!" And you replying "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO" haha. Very good times seeing you there, and very good times even after I stopped playing/ made brief cameos in the game. It was a pleasure playing alongside you Tanjer, you were definitely one of the most upbeat people I had ever met. Cheers.

Even though we rarely had the chance to speak with eachother, I always considered you a friend Lec.
Your remarks in game always made me laugh and you are definetly one of the players that I always respected.
Even though our paths never crossed much, I followed your progress and I agree that you accomplished more than alot of people playing this game ever will.

Jyak . One of the funniest players that I ever had the chance to befriend!
I also do remember our conversations in Fury. Those conversations reminded me to never take the game too seriously.
You were always a cool guy to hang with and I often laughed out loud when I saw you come running with your little Taru, shouting DANISH!!!!!!!
I will remember you Jyak. Dont ever change man!
