So, I go to pick up my copy of ToAU that I had reserved. I've been anticipating this bad boy for quite awhile. When I pick it up, I feel estatic. So, I excitidly hurry home and install the expansion onto my HDD (PS2 player).

Once thats done, I go to POL to register the game. I look at the instruction manual, which says "On the Expanded Service Registration screen, select "FFXI: Treasure of Aht Urhgan," then enter your Treasures of Aht Urhgan registration code shown on page 12 of this instruction manual".

I turn to page 12, and in bold letters it says "FINAL FANTASY XI: TREASURES OF AHT URHGAN REGISTRATION CODE"

Below that is a big box.........which is blank. There was some kind of misprint or something....because....MY FUCKING REGISTRATION CODE ISNT IN THE FUCKING MANUAL!!!!

Oh....and all the gamestops are sold out.....so no way to replace. So, here I sit, trying to contact POL Customer Service, so I can bitch somebody out.

Lol, someone else posted about this in GD, and for a moment i considered how undoubtedly pissed off i would be if it were to happen to me.

A token of generosity for your inconvenience from SE would be to overlook your fees for a month maybe, or give you something for free, but this is SE, who could obviously give a fuck about customer satisfaction because they know we will all keep spending our 12.95+ a month regardless

Well, SE knows about the bad batch of Registration Codes mix up, but I don't know if they're gonna do anything about it as of yet.

UPDATE: I talked to POL, apparently, this happened to a good bit of ppl. Luckily, after going through alot of hell......I found another copy of ToAU in another Gamestop far from home, so I traded in the defect copy for store credit, headed down that way, and got my good copy of ToAU.

So, i'm all registered up! No thanks to SE, but oh well.
