only way i would only run 6lbs of boost on a car was if i was on stock internals. but if ur putting out that kinda Hp good luck keeping your you pistons on the correct side of ur hood if they are still stock. Hell i got a friend that is in the 300z club im in that has a NA>TT 300 that has eveything imaginable done to it and it is only ~675 - 700 hp running race fuel and 28 lbs of boost in a bigger engine. 3.0 vs. 2.7

Exactly. A claim of 300 to the wheels would be more believable, but I'd still say that's a stretch on 6 pounds of boost. The claim is 200+ more than that even...Hence, you havea dozen people shouting manure!

I also found it really funny he has what looks like stock exhaust.

Notice his Florida plate that says Aruba.

I've been a member of Newtiburon.com forums since almost day 1. I can't find him anywhere on there. Most notable tibby build is by a guy in Korea himself. Who's turned his I4 into a 450+WHP quickie.

The OP reminds me of a story thatone of my friends girlfriends tried telling me about a Ford Escort she got to go 160mph.

I told her that car probably wouldn't go that fast even if you pushed it off a cliff.

Used to exchange emails with a fellow who snagged an 89 (?) escort GT turbo and put it in his 90 something escort and would tell fun race stories of making guys in Camaro's look like the pope just flipped him off.

I disagree sir.

First we need to figure out the height of the cliff. Then calculate the weighht + effect of gravity into an equation, oh, and I think time it takes for it to fall. I leaned in physcial science freshmen year of highschool. An equation I also forgot. Man that project was fun. Tennis Balls off the top of the football stadium 4tw.

Ahem. Strap enough rockets to anything and it'll go fast. It's not a matter of "what can be done to get it there" it's the means to get it there. My point was, she was talking about a 1990 Escort she used to drive to high school in.

Reguardless of what your friends did you thier car, I know she didn't do that to hers, and she was obviously talking out of her ass. OP to a tee baby.

Only cheap jap-car I like is the z-series. I got a 280z.

On the topic of this guys car and $$$ and where it comes from, this guys got the right do spend his mommy's money however he chooses.

That being said, what a goddamn waste. Could have had a bitchin bmw already modded for less than 20 (E36 M3) or a fucking awesome domestic for under 60 (corvette, mustang, muscle car, anything!). I would've went out and found a nice BMW M6 and been happy, but they're pretty rare so maybe a clean L6 and replaced the engine with one out of an E34 M5 and swaped in a manual tranny, other mods too.

I'm amazed and in disbelief that anyone would spend that much on a front wheel drive ANYTHING. Simple physics shows that front wheelers are worthless next to a RWD counterpart.
 
I wonder how much power that S.U.V motor can hold before it goes boom.
