is having seizures. before i upgraded (i got this card for free when my old card fried) i could run multiple fullscreen games for example 2 copies of FFXI at once. now that i have this wonderful new card (the graphics quality is amazing) i can't seem to do that anymore... in fact, it has seizures, then stops responding to controls and i end up with the nice vpu recover message ect ect.

any ideas? tried omega drivers, tried tinkering with teh settings... can't seem to get it working well enough to run 2 copies of XI. help!

I can't really help.. but I can relate. My new 8800GTS was having issues running two copies of FFXI (second copy would phase in and out of black and normal colors) until I fixed the drivers from last night. If yours is not a driver issue... it's most likely a DX8 issue, or just unknown hardware bugs at this point.

WTFox, how do you enable multi-instance FFXI? Windower ini?

I know Daryus was having some graphic glitches with his HD2900 when he upgraded to the Cat7.9's. Have you tried previous ones, like 7.6 or 7.8? I think 7.8 was something useless that only fixed one problem for some users in one game.
