My Return... (Yet again)

[chrono fantasy]

I've been taking a few long breaks in a span of 4 and a half years since I began this game. I just finished my first semester in College, and real life things got in the way, but now I'm returning and hoping to stay for longer than one month... It's hard to tell now, it depends what the future holds, but I noticed I have more free time while I'm in College than I do when I was working Full Time.

At the moment, I'm just waiting for all the updates and what not to download for FFXI, and that will certainly take a couple hours.

When I return in the game, my first goal is to finally get my friggen cooking skill from 97 to 100! It's taken me over four years to get that up; it's quite ridiculous!

I want to reconnect with old friends who are still playing, and I might spend the first month using up my seals and what not to make myself a lot of gil.

The month after, that's when I'll go crazy with my gil and find a new goal with new and improved gear.

I certainly want to check out all the new updates that I've been missing out on, I'll have to catch up to the new missions and quests as well.

It should be fun, and I really hope I'll stick around; until everyone moves over to FFXIV that is. ^^

Hey chrono, I remember you from way back when! Unfortunately I don't plan on returning to ffxi though, but I'm definitely hoping for the FFXIV beta, so maybe I'll see you there?

[chrono fantasy]

Yep, I'm definitely going to try out the FFXIV beta if they accept my application for that.

I will probably try BCNM60, but too bad the drop rate for that stupid item is quite rare...

It feels good to be back, I'm working on my cooking at the moment. I'm now at 99.2. So close to 100, but it'll take forever since I have to farm that dumb ex - Royal Jelly item.

Wow..Chrono long time no see.. lol I haven't played for months now. Got tired of seeking for hours on Neurotic. Miss the good ol'days with my first character Gav party invites left and right, made it fun to play.... I also applied for beta testing ffxiv (crosses fingers). Been thinking of playing Neurotic again... I can only play Wii with the kids for so long.... lol

ttyl, GAV!!!

I likely won't be playing FFXI again, or atleast not for a very long time. By the time I get a connection worth a damn FFXIV will be out.

Plus I don't really have anything to do in FFXI anymore. Most of the people I played with have quit and I can never get in with anyone that does activities... atleast ones that don't boss you around and you go weeks and weeks with no reward =/

That's cause you don't call anymore honeybuns. And you stole our child and sent it to boot camp!

Oh yea... About that, I got some package in the mail. I guess it was a finger or something, had a note that was like "We'll send another piece until blah blah blah..."

Seemed like some kind of viral marketing junk mail, so I threw it out.

Hey Gav,and everyone else. Yes, I remember you all, and reconnected with old friends who also just returned like me, or who have been on the game the whole time while I was gone.

It's really good to see a lot of old and familar faces, and FF has changed so much. In fact, it's actually a lot easier now to find a pty and lvl up. Rather than waiting for someone to invite you in your lvl range or to search for people in that lvl range for your pty, you can just level sync one another and anyone can join that pty.

I'm in one LS, out of 5 Linkpearls I have on me, and there's always people there forming exp ptys, mind you, a lot of them are actually still new to FFXI (Within a year or less) and I normally can always jump on a pty with them on most days. I managed to lvl my smn from 24 to 50 in a matter of two weeks of not seeking/exping 24/7 but even exping a few whole days here and there.

I got a whole to-do list on my very own FFXI document I compile with everything I do in the game, so I'll never get a chance to be bored or have nothing to do in FFXI for at least another few years, but I'm going to completely drop everything from FFXI once 14 comes out because I like being one of the first and I'd like to later on say to people that I've been with the game since it's release.

Hopefully I'll get to see some other new faces and such later on, or that more people might return in the near future.

And speaking of people who still play or not, has anyone remembered seeing Teruko on at all recently?

[nightnurse]

There might be some people around that you don't know you know

[chrono fantasy]

There will be a lot of people around that I don't know, I already know that.

Anyways, I returned already two months ago and caught up on quite a lot, but still got some things to catch up on. I also got my SMN to lvl 75 today and cooking to 100 last week. ^^

Congrats on ACP win, little buddy.
