Yeah yeahanother ZOMg I got a good party post.
Basically I got tired of my how my thf literally only gets parties that arent good enough for it( ninjas that dont understand the concept of voke and try to DD in eva gear ect) so I found a cor looking. I grabbed the cor and used him as the perfect excuse to use my thf for rogues roll enhancement.
I saw a ninja looking whom would have no chanceof being gimp because he would have been called out on it years ago if he was. Grabbed a war.
Unlike a large majority of people nowadays actually read search comments and discovered a mnk seeking who had brd 75.
Then meeze referred me to this galka whm whom happens to be one of the best ive seen in a while. I think this may be one of the first/only times ive ever been in a party with a whm I trust with my life(in a merit pt). Anyway they wanted to do colibri which was kinda dissapointing to me since it was a party actually worthy of me buying hedgehog pie for but the camp was empty anyway.
Microshaft and it's wonderful automatic update system that restarts the pc whether you want it to or not no matter what hit me overnight so I can't remember all the names.
The setup as we headed out was:
THF-Me
Nin-Meeze
war-Nikas
Whm-Steihl(sorry if I spelled it wrong)
BRd-Eormanic
COR-Justarius
Anyways we get to camp and start pulling away shortly into the party the cor Dcs. It was probably about 15 minutes into it. We were kinda busy killing everything in our path so it was kind hard to find the time to search for another guy.
My Sneak attack+ Dancing edge were doing about 1200 minimum. I know that theres a difference between what a person thinks is the average damage they do and what the actual average ws is but I am a fast reader and was keeping note of what my lowest numbers were. I counted exactly 5 times/flukes where it went under 1.2k. I broke 1k on a dancing edge without SA or TA once and hit 900+ twice.
The party members were all properly equipped(a rarity these days) and eor did a great job pulling. He couldn't manage to bring the colibri to camp in time for us to autotarget them but I suppose that was more of an issue with our killspeed and how spaced out those bastards are with bugard no longer being there to chain as filler than anything. I think he hadnt played brd in a bit too possibly as he had used horde lulllaby at the start of the party before remembering why not to do that.
At the end of all of this we essentially got 17.5k per hour fighting with only 5 people.
We eventually got a mnk to rep the cor who took a while and didnt get much time to kill/merit as eor got dragged off to einerjar by his ls at the last moment and we had to disband.
Yeah I know that 18k per hour aint exactly the best cannon exp for some people but is was damned fun and a reminder to myself that I can actually kill shit with my thf and kill it fast. The lack of death from grabbing hate and not losing it/the monster not being hit hard enough by others before I died was wonderful too.
Also a large majority of the people trying to make cannons fail anyway due to various things like overcrowding and incompetence. Yes I'm looking at you Mr. life belt at 75 mnk and Mr. lv 75 sam that tries to sub thf because he will supposedly tank with /war that then goes out and subs war to prove a point and doesnt get hit the whole 2+ hours. No that breath attack by a dragon doesnt count because you only died from that because you were stupid enough to get hit by one when I was tanking by standing where a breath attack would hit. It had nothing to do with you subbing war.
Getting a TPcannon to hit its potential is very difficult when you dont know all of the people in it and as such for those of us who never are online when people we know want to party actually is difficult for most of us to get the 15k, the 20k+ ect parties working together.
Now all I gotta do is try to recreate that 30k per hour party I once got for my ninja as a relatively newbie 75nin. That was fun...
