Well, yesterday was the worst partying day I had ever. Not because of my party. Because of me. I think I should have been granted the title of King Noob (in fact, I self declared myself that). I can't the stuff that happened.

First off, we're fighting in the nest doing quite well. All of a sudden, this rumble crawler pops and I get all freaked out because it starts smacking me and there's suppposed to be a beetle on the way. What do I do? I think I'll sleep it. Hit into magic and boom...start casting. ONly I'm casting warp and before I realize it. ***Area: POrt Jeuno*** So I look like an ass. So stupid of me....

Then next, I almost get my party killed because I should have really
escaped sooner. Puller is pulling a beetles when they catch a link and scream Escape!!! But then they realize it's only two beetles so it sounded like they were going to fight them. I try to sleep the other one then (cancelling my escape). Umm..no...beetle resists my sleep spell. NOw the party is losing more HP and I start casting Escape again and we all make it out thank god.

ANd then comes the cherry on top. When we get back to camp, I told them I was going to reboot because I was having serious lag issues. (People would start and end skillchains and burst and I would not see any of it.) So I tell them, I'm going to reboot, and do it.... and I come back...there's no internet connection... So there I probably am looking like a jackass and my party probably hates me. Damn wireless. So I call it a night. Now it seems to be working.

So I'm sorry to my party yesterday (and Pesmegra was there in it to witness my stupidity too).
 
Wow. I knew about the warp part, but damn. That was a pretty bad night. As a side not Palum, I've learned that me, as a BLM, sleeping IT++ mobs doesnt really work. Shit half the time they resist it with Ele. Seal attached.

The fact still remains that you do not do this every day, it was just a series of really bad events. I do not think you are a poor player, but you are King Noob. :P :P
 
hehe ^^ generally why a RDM is good :D gotta love our high Enfeebling Magic ^^ and if it's a Red Mage/Black Mage the Ele Seal + High Enfeebling + whatever skill is bound to stick 99% of the time XD

BRD is also great for sleep. :P

not really.. BRD is only good for sleep on dark type mobs (such as undead) other than that.. their sleep lasts all of 30 seconds... my sleep can last for 5 minutes on a mob XD
 
Wow...can I relate...lol Except in my case we were in the nest and our pld was leaving...our new one had just arrived and the old pld had asked for a d2. So I pull up my menu and start the warp II...all the sudden my screen goes black and I am in Jueno :shock: I could've died. I am famous (or infamous as the case may be) in my ls for that...lol
 
Lulluby is not interuptable and it doesn't take MP. As well I think it has a better accuracy than BLM or RDM with the high end CHR items by a very very far amount. My BRD used to run through zones of ITs without sneak or invis just spamming lulluby.

Pesmegra 52 sam? he is in my LS along with Lyndis and he said nothing bad about you. he mentioned he died a couple times though. but he was laughing about it. Are you in his static btw?

PESMERGA! One of the coolest Suikoden characters and a great Guy online...he pointed me out to his friends BST LS when I started lvling that. Hmmm, I haven't used that LS for a Looooong time hehe.

Oh btw. PALUM YOU SUCK! Big sis is gonna slap you when you get home! Bad taru-waru! :P

Not my favorite though. My favorite is when we went to get Bigdadddy his Mold. Mold finally drops and Kiere starts to D2.......before the mold leaves the treasure pool. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
That may have been YOUR favorite Al. lol. God love ya Kiere. That incident will be forever remembered by all involved.
 
I can honestly say that's the one I feel the worst about...I was actually in tears I felt so bad :cry: I blame everyone that neglected to pass after quite some time still...lol That was such a crazy night we were trying to get so much done and I THOUGHT I was being efficient :oops:
 
awwwl kiere. It was no biggy once I came back from Jeuno we got another fairly quickly. I thought it was humorous more than anything. See now we will always remember getting me my mold. :)

You weren't alone baby doll! I was in tears too! Mine were from laughter though..... :lol:

This is correct. I ran back from Yhoater jungle more than a few times sleeping everything on the path.

Thing of how many things are strong to light, and think of how many things are strong against Darkness based magic. Nearly nothing you XP against is strong vs. Light, but Bats and such are strong vs. DRK. To top it off, BRD can use a light staff and Mary's Horn for a double boost to the song.

BRD Sleep> Everyone elses' Sleep.

But really the whole thing is mute, since there are like 5 BRDs in the game (Aside from the 3 million searching at my BRDs level range all the time).

Gotta disagree about bard's sleep being all that great. Bard's lullaby is really nice for first 40 or so lvls, but past 40 and especially past 50 Lullaby doesn't hold a candle to RDM sleep 2. Try the uncapped 75 BCNM with 6 scorpions with a bard as main sleeper and you are toast. Try using a bard as main sleeper for god item hunts in sky and you are toast. Lullaby with massive charisma does very little in end game FFXI. Also, even if it does land it doesn't keep mob slept for very long.

Dont feel bad about the Warp thing. I know i've clicked the wrong spell from my list before enough times to warrant a flame or two :oops:

Most recent was in the Nest. I went to hit Regen, somehow targetted a Cave Berry and hit of all things Silence? Of course I thought I was still casting Regen so I had no qualm about letting the spell fire off. Two seconds later I was laying face down on that cold floor.

..I had spell lists being so large.

Anyways. It was just a bad run. At least you did good by owning up to it.
