N. Korean rocket launch.../war....maybe?

Your underwear is largely safe. North Korea is something of a paper tiger. Big military on paper, but relatively obsolete, poorly-maintained and ill-trained, with no functioning economy to back it all up.

The reason it's only "largely" safe is there is the risk that North Korea's leadership will continue to be as batshit insane as we think they might be, and start believing their own propaganda.
 
Eh, i dunno dude war with N. Korea would could, COULD mean war with Iran, which would prbly mean war with some other countries...... i dunno i just dont see war with N. Korea going in any Positive direction WHAT so ever
 
Contrary to Dubya's assertions, there really is no organized "Axis of Evil". Iran's response to hostilities initiated by North Korea would, in all likelihood, be something along the lines of "Good luck with that, suckers."
 
Well what about China? I thought the big threat with N. Korea was that if someone got into a war with them, all of China would get into it and BAM! WW3.
 
I think (read: hope) China is a little too smart for that. They've already slapped N. Korea around last year for acting stupid. Japan is on our side about this, as is nearly every other country around them.
 
Iran, unlike North Korea, does not have insane leaders.

Scenarios:

North Korea fires rocket, USA/Japan shoots it down. Iran: "Well, you guys are douchebags, oh well, back to building our nuclear bases!"

Above scenario, North Korea declares war on NATO. Iran: "North Korea, you guys are morons."

There's nothing to be afraid of, unless you live in South Korea, or maybe in a Middle Eastern nation. They couldn't get a missile here for one, and secondly, if they even think twice about attacking us/declaring war they would be wiped off the map so fast it would go largely unnoticed in real time.

Insane ideologically, not so insane politically and militarily.

Kim Jong Il would probably have no problems killing all of his people to go down in a blaze of glory before he kicks the bucket
 
Im only worried about people making hasty decisions and of all countries to call Israel Racist, Iran should be the last...... lol

Which is exactly what I think he is doin'. He wants to do somethin' rather extravagant, no matter how stupid, to go out with a bang, because like you said, he's about to eat it.

China isn't on his side, Europe isn't on his side, Japan definitly isn't on his team, and Iran doesn't seem to be on their side, per news I've seen. So with this information, if it's true, we can conclude if he keeps it up he'll be flushed.
 
Hopefully by his own people long before he has a chance to lead them into something stupid.
