While this entire story has nothing to do with quetzlcoatl, I'll will post it here because of the relevance it has to other issues I've seen here.
Not long ago (2 days I believe) on Hades, several HNM LS's gathered to grab Behemoth. Most of these LS's were NA but one or two was JP. Anyways, KB spawns instead of Behemoth and a JP LS grabs it before it even shows up on the NAs' screen (shit happens). So now we have a group of pissed off NAs standing there fuming about losing not only the NM they were after but even better.
Well, one LS didn't like this one bit. The leader of this LS (i'm not using names here so the LS will be LSX) orders the group to steal the claim if possible. So shortly after the order is given, KB becomes unclaimed right in front of Player X. Player X, being a blm that is new to this LS and trying to prove himself, stuns KB. Practically as soon as stun shoots off, half of LSX disbands from the group because they didn't agree with the ethics. The rest of LSX realizes they can't win with only this many people and runs for the zone. Player X suddenly loses hate as he's running but still has claim. KB then trounces all over the the JP LS that held original claim while Player X tries to gain hate back to save them. The JP LS loses all their white mages because of cure spam drawing hate to them. Player X Blizzard 4s KB eventually and dies immediately, losing claim shortly thereafter. The JP LS eventually kills KB after another 45 minutes even though the majority of his health (80% ish) is gone.
Now the aftermath. Player X lies dead in Behemoth's Dominion while group leader X (who ordered the steal) is being bashed by those who left. Everyone in LSX is at each others throats, especially Player X's. He tries to defend himself by saying he was just doing what he was told and that makes him even worse off. No one in LSX will come raise him. After a long argument, Player X gets a raise from a friend and Group Leader X quits the game. All seems steady if not good for the moment.
Group Leader X has a change of plans. At first his plan is to mpk JP HNM LS's until he gets banned. Instead, in a deep underground secret cavern, a meeting of NA HNM LS leaders and Group Leader X takes place. An alliance is formed with the sole purpose of preventing JP HNM LS's from killing any HNM. This alliance agreed fully to any and all underhanded tactics necessary to perform this purpose. So last night around 7pm est, every member online from the Alliance sent complaint after complaint to the GM service on Hades, causing a severe congestion and forcing a temporary shutdown of GM service. In this time they MPKed JP LS's on no less than 3 different occassions. They got away with every one of them without consequence. This has spawned an extreme NA vs. JP feeling all over the server and now I believe it may be an all out war.
This behavior disgusts me but I thought it worth posting here. I didn't want to mention names at all because.. well because I don't want any trouble with anyone else. I'm not sure if it's appeared on alla yet but I'm pretty sure it has, although maybe it's being hushed. Also, sorry for the monotonous tone of it, just wanted to tell it straight without any bias or inconsistencies.
