Was anyone else disappointed that these games aren't going to ever hit US shores? Both seem to have relatively good plots and the idea of playing as multiple characters (In Namco X Capcom - Megaman, KOS-MOS, Felicia, Morrigan, Ryu, Strider Hiryu, Dig Dug, [Gil from Tower of Druaga?], many others...in Chaos Wars, characters from Gungrave, Shadow Hearts, Growlanser, few other games..)

Was really looking forward to trying these games but due to having to relicense issues, it seems we'll never see either of these games. Anyone else sortof annoyed at this? I mean yeah you can play as a ton of them in Marvel vs Capcom but I think it woulda been pretty neat to see how they work out in an RPG setting. US never seems to get any of the really good games...

Basically any game that isn't about molestation that doesn't make it here is a disappointment.

Both games look interesting but disappointing that they probably will not reach the states like most games.

And it looks like there is a chaos wars.com but for something else.

The game industry especially in licensing and marketing is a 180 in the US from Japan. I personally think the US is missing out in certain niche target groups but it does not look like there has been any change or a new strategy in the US market for years.

I feel you. I hated when Black Matrix RPG never got ported, as never did Jump Superstars 1 and 2 for the DS! I was looking forward to that Namco X Capcom game. It was a tactic rpg!

5 blocks right and *Shinku Shoriuken* Jin Kazama! Dam, Idk why I stopped importing... ; ;

Well, I imported Namco X Capcom, trust me, it's a very mediocre RPG. While it is fun to be running around with characters from all these different franchises, it doesn't help that the game is so easy and has such broken characters (KOS-MOS being near invincible throughout all of it). I wish I could have understood more of the storyline, because gameplay wise it just drags on after awhile. Takes somewhere around 60 hours to beat, and anyone who's played a tactics game will have no problems abusing the AI's weaknesses and certain characters overpowered techs.

I will admit the soundtrack and cutscenes are nice though, taking songs from so many games and watching certain characters team up is fun, but after awhile it wears off and it becomes a bland game. Plus I think it sold poorly in Japan, which probably was the final nail in it's coffin.

Trust me when I say this: a lot of the games that don't make it stateside don't for very good reason. Import a Super Famicom and an assload of games that weren't released in the US (I actually suggest flying there and back... it might actually be cheaper). For the most part everything you get will probably blow pretty hard.
