NAmeing your Car?

I hope im not the only one that does this but... Is it weird to give your Car a Name?


I have a Blue Dodge 2002 Dakota, which i have Dubly Named "Blue Steel" After Zoolander

Anyone else name their cars/trucks

I never really had a name for my first car until after it got wrecked. 1980 Thunderbird, "Tuesday".

Second car was a pimpin shitbox, 89 Pontiac 6000LE. Dubbed "Goole", my brown friend actually thought that was what it was called (6000LE... Goole... he failed the class to no surprise).

Had a Park Ave recently too, but never really found a suitable name for her.

I named my '98 Civic 'Jesus', and my brother's '07 Civic 'Susanna'. It's never wierd. Lots of people do it, though it's more common for them to be female names.

Only good reason to name a machine is if several of the same machine is under you're care. I.E. a computer lab (It's actually kinda fun addressing them by name)

But i named my motorcycles "Spinja" & "Spinja II".

I got Spinja II 10 monthes after Spinja went missing.

i never named my van, but its widley known as the Awesome van for all the cool neon lights and dragons, the television, surround sound and fold out bed.
It was dubbed that by the many people lucky enough to ride in it!

My cousin had a 99 Chevy Cavalier that he named Helga, and a 90 GMC pickup we called The Total Tank.

Now I have a 96 Jeep with terrible paint problems that I call "The Tiny Ugly"

My co-workers have named my Black 01 Monte Carlo SS the "LBN" and my boss's Black Chevy Blazer the "BBN" because we always park side by side.

LBN stands for "Little black N-word" and you can figure out what BBN stands for...
