I think it's the third thread by now at least >.>

So ya, really enjoying the Manga :D the anime is still slow paced and took a break, but that's to be expected.

Loving the manga, as always. Epic battles forthcoming between Naruto/Bee and Nagato/Itachi.

The anime on the other hand, while I enjoyed it even if they added a few extra scenes, was not quite right. The most blaring mistake of episode 220 is the fact that the part where Naruto is asked for his autograph while sitting in the ramen shop was completely removed. Instead the only thing shown to elude that he was uncomfortable with his new-found hero status was a short walk being greeted by the people of Konoha. To me, the part where he's unsure of what to do when asked for the autograph is the whole reason he is able to defeat his "dark" self while in the waterfall. Why would you take that out? I just don't get it.

That happens after he gets back from the trip though. He will be returned and summoned right back into the ramen shop where the two Ninja will be :P I thought that they removed it at first, but checking back it happens AFTER his chat with the old big sage frog dood :O

Or at least I think so, let me double check

Ah yep, here

and the following two pages :P

Ah.. okay, you're right. Somehow I thought that happened before he got summoned to the frog temple. Oh well, my gripe is done then. :P

That's kind of interesting, they actually used only one Naruto chapter on that whole anime episode and the extra filler stuff wasn't really out of place or anything. Even though I could watch it and clearly go "Hmm.. I don't remember that."

Ya. I like how they did this episode. I, too, at first thought there was supposed to be the autograph stuff, but checked and ya woot. I mean what they added wasn't important, but wasn't annoying.

Well I enjoyed the double episode, even if there was a lot of filler story in both episodes, it still didn't detract from the overall story. Unfortunately it looks like next week's episode is completely made up filler with perhaps a tiny splash of real stuff in it.. but mostly all looks to be crap filler. (Hopefully it's just this one episode, before they get on the ship that takes them to turtle island).

As far as the manga goes.. I guess we finally get to see what Itachi did to Naruto next week. I enjoyed the manga chapter just like I always have been. Good stuff here.

Ya, the chapter was good :) and the anime was fine. Next week.. I'm not sure :\ it's prolly gonna be an arc, boo, but I understand why.

How they're doing the reanimated ninja in the manga is awesome. I figured they'd be totally devoid of memories or anything, just an empty fighting shell. The fact that they're siding with the actual "enemy" is quite cool. Looks like some of the cast with close ties to them are about to get some level-ups.

You mean the manga. :P They've only just "appeared" in the anime. But yes, I do also like how they've largely managed to keep their own memories. Though I think that this was explained as it being too hard for Kabuto to control all of his minions perfectly at once, so instead he's let them keep their identities intact in exchange for being able to control their bodies and techniques when he wants. I imagine if he had only, say 5 or so bodies to control then he could likely make them completely devoid of any humanity.

I also think he may have a few more powerful ninja hidden away he hasn't used yet. Currently, as far as I can remember, he's still controlling all of the tailed beast hosts 1-7, a few former kages, Itachi and Nagato. I think all of the others were destroyed or beaten. I can't remember.. I think Diedara is still alive, just sealed up atm and basically useless. We all know that Kabuto has at the very least one other corpse he can control, the one that surprised the hell out of Madara. So he very well may still have more hidden we don't know about.

Yes, I meant manga, edited to reflect. He definitely has more up his sleeve, they're just getting started really. As for the stow away body, when I first saw that I figured it was either Madara's actual body, an old body, etc., or possibly the ultimate boss; Sage of the Six Paths. Total at the moment thing though and not convinced of either at all after the moment passed.

The manga was cool :D but I wonder what Naruto will do now vs Sasuke since that gift Itachi gave him likely can't be given again.

Haven't watched the anime yet. Wonder how it is.

Edit: ok, the anime was stupid as hell -_-

I'm truly impressed by how much of an amazing strategist they made Itachi. His plan to become Sasuke's enemy so he can restore the Uchiha, the implanted Amerterasu to be used on Madara once Sasuke saw his Sharingan, and now this? This is the second time Itachi has done brilliant startegizing in death.

he's awesome :P too bad he couldn't be the main Uchiha character of the story. Oh well.

Hmm.. Is there no Manga this week? The anime episode came out already but usually the manga is out well before it.

*sigh* Looks like the anime is going off on a tangent of filler episodes involving the seafaring adventures of Naruto and crew. They could keep this up for many weeks and probably will do just that, but I'm already tired of it.

Far as I can tell no manga this week for Bleach or Naruto. Oh well. No big deal, on vacation anyways and meh internet so can't download crap :P

I would have made a new thread but they told me that the old one might get revived, oh well.

No problem, I'll start posting my weekly summary on Wednesday.

I don't trust that the old threads will be revived at all -_- it's been like.. a month or more since those threads died.

No, I didn't stay up this late just for spoilers.. I swear

Spoiler:
Nagato is completely being controlled.

Naruto is nearly killed, but Bee saves him, but gets hurt himself

Itachi summons Susanoo and uses some crazy attack, Naruto and Bee both use high level attacks

They all attack at once and Nagato's control wears off.

He has a conversation with Naruto, and apparently enters some kind of Nirvana

Itachi is bad ass <3

Itachi is freaking awesome. Him fighting and involving himself directly for the good guys though is....ALMOST cheating. xD

"Because I'm a master strategist, I planted this Mangekyo Sharingan from my best friend into one of my Genjutsu crows just in case my highly elaborate, multi-year plan to have my own little brother grow stronger and kill me happens to fail somehow. Oh, by the way, the enemy can't control me now and I can unleash my Susano'o which still wields the Totsuka Sword, the perfect weapon for fighting any Edo Tensei zombie."

I love that man.
