Naruto Thread V3.0

Gaara seems to be just as strong as when he had shuukaku, so maybe they retain the powers?
 
When they were reanimated they regained the use of their powers as if they had never lost them.

Keep in mind Itachi has both of his Sharingan eyes, yet his real eyes are in Sasuke now.

Gaara was naturally strong with the use of his sand. The only thing Shukaku did was make him go Berserk and take over, plus back when he had Shukaku he could use some of the beasts powers. Now he's only been using his own power. Taking the tailed beast out of him nearly killed him and took away his ability to use the tailed beast. It did not take away his ability to use his sand, that was his own ninjutsu from the start.
 
Either way I enjoyed this chapter and I agree it will definitely be one of those that will be so much better to watch animated.

I cannot WAIT for next week's chapter. I want to see what the Nine-Tails is going to do. It seems to be warming over to Naruto hardcore, enough to no longer be absorbing his shelved chakra.

Could we really about be shown Naruto in a fully Naruto-controlled Nine Tailed Jinchuriki mode?
 
I haven't really been posting much just because when I've read the chapters so far I've just been enjoying them but didn't feel the need to really post anything prudent.

That doesn't mean I don't still check this thread every week, or more often than that.

I enjoyed it. And yeah, I kinda loled at Son Goku, but since he is a monkey king, it does kind of make sense and all. Also interesting to know that all the tails have actual names. I mean, instead of just being the x-tails.

It was interesting to see this chapter tossed out on Christmas. I wonder if we will still get a chapter on Wednesday or Thursday this week.

Wait wait wait wait wait... I just remembered something. Wasn't the 4th Hokage's animal summon Goku The Monkey King? I mean really, it fit all the descriptions. Fighting with martial arts and a staff, not to mention the clothing. *scratches head* I could have swore that that summoned monkey king was named Son Goku, or at least Goku. I know it was damn sure meant to represent Son Goku at any rate.

Interesting concept, having Naruto directly communicate with the controlled beast.

Perhaps we are looking at a plot device that has Naruto become THE Jinchuriki instead of just to the Nine Tails?
 
by the way, Kurama for the nine tails is a homage to YYH.

There's no special connotation to foxes named Kurama like the legend of Son Goku with the ape king or anything like that, it's directly related to Yoko Kurama in YYH.

Cool stuff.

NO MORE FUCKING FILLER EPISODES FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Finally at long last in not for half the damn year, maybe longer, we can get back to the main storyline. I really, really, really, really, really hope they don't dump any fillers on us ever again. Or at the very least there aren't any fillers for a loooong time.

Another great chapter.

Naruto is a combat genius, as we already know and are reinforced in believing rather often these days.

I guess the nine tails is going to be added to his harem pretty soon too
 
Was a good chapter, but dang it flew by fast. I bet that whole chapter could be animated in like 5 minutes.

I can't help but think that Kishimoto is giving the nine-tails cliche tsundere dialog just to troll us.
 
Only way it would be better is if they went all frat boy and blew up the fist pound. That'd be classic.
 
Gotta be honest, I'm excited to see the nine tails and Naruto work together in the next chapter :)
