The only question I have...

How old is Kakashi when Tobi attacks Konohagakure with the nine-tails? I mean...ages still have to match up for Tobi to be Obito, right?
 
That is true, and I believe at that point in time he's probably a teenager, maybe late or early twenties. I'm not sure what the length of time between Obito's death and Naruto's birth is. Kinda hard to say, but definitely some good period of time between the two. Good question.
 
I think Kakashi was already an adult or young adult by then. Dunno, hard to say. Not sure of age. But if it's a time jutsu thing, it could be written off with that.

I'm wondering if it's going to be a twist that it ISN'T Obito, but somebody that defiled his grave. Cue Kakashi getting really pissed if that's true.

I doubt it though, this is a children's comic. Can't be anything TOO deep. That's reserved for Kubo.
 
Manga and anime are definitely not (all) children material. I'd say a lot of the stuff that happens in Naruto, while visually catering to a semi-young audience is also highly mature material not exactly suitable to children.

Anyway. Guess we're about to have all those questions answered next week.

This is, afterall, a children's manga. Predicting the plot isn't that big of a task, but 5 years in advance is a bit funny.
 
LOL so true. But you have to admit there were times when you just weren't exactly sure who the hell he might be.

Edited: Oh! I feel like making another prediction. I think this Obito/Tobi could very well likely be a white Zetsu or even perhaps the 'original' white Zetsu. I mean really, in a way, why would the main bad guy appear so soon in the war. Now, I'm not saying that Tobi is not Obito, he still is since the white Zetsu make exact copies of their targets. But this could be perhaps a decoy. Just saying, think about it. We also haven't really seen what Black Zetsu is capable of other than moving through the ground and doing reconnaissance.

That's a possibility too. But then who is Zetsu and why go through all this?

The only thing that makes me doubt that theory is the flashbacks of Obito in the beginning of the chapter.

Many of those Flashbacks were at times where Obtio was seemingly along. Therefore, those flashbacks wouldn't belong to Kakashi. Furthermore, I'm not aware of Zetsu being able to copy someone's memories.

Granted, I may be reading too deeply into them.

Not a very good chapter. I suppose the story is ending soon though.
 
Yeah really not too much of anything was shown. But I definitely said "Oh shit!" with excitement on the last page. I hope all the Kages managed to fair well.

I wouldn't quite say the story is over, after all there is still Sasuke. I imagine he should be appearing shortly since now there are 2 Uchiha on the same battlefield with Naruto.
