Naruto Thread V3.0

That was a pretty brutal fight there. I approve.

well, I did not expect them to have lost an arm or two. I wonder if Sakura will some how magically heal them or if they will no longer have a hand for the rest of their lives. And if they were sleeping all night, shouldn't they be dead from blood loss? Movement or not, you don't go missing an arm and live throughout a night if it's still bleeding like that.

Ele I think you forgot this is manga/anime-land. Where people can live while even their bodies are hacked apart.

Now true, Naruto hasn't been a world like that really, but with the control of all these jutsu's don't you think they could control the blood flow like they control chakra. I mean hell, they've already survived being mortally wounded once already.

They aren't mortally wounded and dying, just severely wounded, beat, and tired. (and okay, maybe dying a little)

But yeah, I do expect Sakura to come and then some drama bs to happen like "But I can only save one of you!!! *useless crying*"

Wow... the manga actually ended :o tbh, felt kinda.. rushed to me. But, it was alright. Sad they kept Neji dead :( I liked him. And who is Naruto's wife? o.o It seemed Sakura did end up with Sasuke.

Edit: Ah, nevermind, didn't notice the marks on Hinata's daughter :P seems Hinata and Naruto are together then? Yay, I like that pairing more.

Btw, what the hell did Orochimaru go and do? >.>

Also, I think 699 might have been a better place to end it than 700.

699 and 700

I honestly can't believe this board held on to finish this story. Then Kishimoto announced a sequel and ruined my dreams.

Actually, I'm not going to make any more posts here for that. Finishing this is probably my curtain call for QCDN. But enough about that.

Almost no closure at all, which is probably why there's a sequel. The movie is SUPPOSED to tell us what happened in the timeskip, but I would imagine most of the plot points are going to be covered in the sequel. Whenever that is. Probably next year.

Keep on keeping on guys. It was fun.

Wait a sequel? What? I missed that.

And yea, that ending sucked.

I uh.. actually had fun seeing who ended up marrying who. Some were completely unexpected imo. Sai and Ino whaaaaa? Choji and that Lightning nation chick? whaaat? Did not see that coming.

Other couples were to be expected. Naruto/Hinata, Sasuke/Sakura, Shikimaru/Temari. Rock Lee even appears to have a kid, though the mother idk about. Might be Tenten, but not really sure. Tenten could still be single as there wasn't much about her other than her owning a weapon shop that doesn't see much business in the peaceful times. Akamaru seemed to have just a no-named wife.. kind of expected imo.

But I enjoyed all the cameos and refreshers on characters. Amazing imo that the former Kage are all somehow still clinging to life... and funny that Tsunade's jutsu still has her looking the most youthful.

I kind of expected Kakashi to become the Hokage to some extent, but am actually still surprised a bit that Naruto wasn't immediately considered to be Hokage, given everything he's done. Yet I was glad that he was able to live his dream.

Part of me wondered a bit, if perhaps they were going to kill him off in the end. I am glad that was not the case.

Also what's this about a sequel? I just saw something about a new manga, but it did not appear to have anything to do with Naruto.

Oh oh, and Anko holy shit what happened?? You used to be so hot and sexy, and now wtf? ...lol.

A part of me is happy to see the end, and yet a part of me is sad to see it end.

I will still check these forums and all. I will try to post stuff about FFXIV, but I have enjoyed the manga/anime section and will still likely post stuff in a few of the threads here.

If you're leaving Tymon, well I can say I will miss ya. It's been enjoyable to see ya here since I haven't played XI in forever.

The manga closure to me was pretty much happily ever after/life goes on. Idk, I thought it was well enough. Everything was resolved. Sasuke was finally able to come to terms with his true feelings and yada-yada-yada, the end.

I'm not leaving the board per-say, it's just that there isn't any real post worthy threads to me other than this one.

And yes, there is a sequel. I don't think it's written by Kishimoto though. WSJ next year.

Interesting. If not Kishi, would seems kinda weird to have another artist do a sequel to an existing manga imo. Idk, seems odd to me. Kinda makes me feel like it might not be as good, but I guess we'll see.

But yeah, I liked Naruto. As a whole.

The ending wasn't bad to me. Though it wasn't exactly epic or anything, it did bring a kind of closure/history going imo.

I like the whole of Naruto too, the premise was good, it had a lot of great moments of feeling (Kishi generally did play the death of characters well as well as the moments of levity to help keep highs and lows flowing so the highs and lows are more impactful), and yea. Sure it wasn't perfect. It had some obvious asspulls/inconsistencies, but they weren't so bad that they ruin the whole.

Can always keep up with Bleach no, Tymon :P hah.

Hey hey. Naruto is back.

Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage.

Though...... not sure how Naruto's son's name went from Bolt in the last chapter of Shippuuden to now becoming Boruto. ...Also WTF Boruto. Every time I see his name now I instantly think of burritos. Uuuugh. Bolt was so much better.

But how about this drama that Sakura's daughter might not actually be her daughter, and that maybe she's fabricated the whole love interest with Sasuke. I did not see that coming.

Boruto is the phonetic JP version of Bolt. Or one of them at least.

I thought that might be the case when I was reading it, but still.. ugh.. I wish they'd just type it out as Bolt for crying out loud. It's less letters.

In Tymon's absence and to summarize:

Daddy issues, Mommy issues, Orochimaru still doing experimental shit but not really the bad guy, Suigetsu is still oblivious, Sharingan transplant BS and Naruto still a beast.

I don't remember seeing Suigetsu in the new sequel.

And ya, I find the focus of this one kinda outta whack. Ah well.

The Naruto anime has been iffy as of late. I stopped watching a bit when they screwed over the viewers by coming off of a filler only to have 2 cannon episodes before going back to filler. But I just caught up today and it seems the last few episodes have been a bit of filler and cannon+flashbacks (that are part of the cannon). Seems it's fully back in the cannon story right now, with Naruto talking to the Sage of the Six Paths within his mind.

Honestly, if they dump another filler arc/series in at this point it would be beyond stupid. So let's see if they can be beyond stupid, or if they can remain true to the manga from here to the end.

The manga ended a long time ago, the following side story manga has now ended as well. It's well beyond time to let the story play out to it's conclusion in the anime.

Holding my breath.

Probably nobody still watches Naruto, but they did finally get back on track. Episode 421 was probably one of the best the show's had in a long time. Might Guys uber attacks against Madara, Sasuke and Naruto being revived and and the animation was pretty good to boot.

So how do they reward us? Another filler episode (or two) in the next episode(s). Well.. it's filler but technically it was in the manga, just at a different point. Going to the side-story of when Naruto taught Konohamaru the Rasengan. Why that part of the story, I don't know. Hopefully it only takes an episode or two and they get back to Naruto and Sasuke being super awesome with their newfound powers.
