Yea, going on deployments and what not can really suck when your trying to actually get anything accomplished in a MMO....but i'm still here amazingly and I was just wondering who else plays the game and is in the Navy. Doesnt have to necessarily be US.....I know alot of members arent in American and I dont want to leave them out ;)

My paygrade is E5, rate is AG2, and I'm currently stationed at North Island in San Diego......and have been here for way too long. I also go out with the USS Nimitz when she goes out.

I hear ya. I know a few people who go out on deployment and come back and feel left behind. No so much the case when you are among friends tho, they all blaze the path for you and you benefit!

Well, I wish ya GL Chpal!

When I got back from deployment a few of my friends helped me out getting back on the path. One of those who really helped the most would be Mai Ikari.

*looks at the amount of replies* Must not be alot of folks here in the Navy, lol.

Well im not navy, but im in the army and yeah it does get kinda hard to juggle an MMO and the armed services period. and good luck chpal ^^

Eh, I can somewhat feel your pain. I just got back from a few months out in the sandbox. AF+FFXI = pain (sometimes)

Right now I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. But, I'm exhausted so my number won't come up until the next EAF cycle.

Only people I like in the Navy are affectionately called "Doc". Not some "corpsman", but a "Doc." There's a real difference between the two. It's like earning that title...it stay with you forever.

Yeah I just got back from Iraq and this game seems to have changed alot since I've been gone. Of course life in general changed alot too. Deployments just suck period, but what can we do? We did sign those papers lol.
