There is a piece of music I remember from years ago.

I do not know the name of it but a segment from what I remember (from ear) sound like this...

Segment:

G_ D E | G_ D E | E F F_ | D C G_ |

G_ D E | G_ D E | E F F_ | D C A_ |

The song may or may not be played in G, I just used it as a start point.

I remember it primarily played with a soprano saxophone.

If anyone could tell me the name of this song, I would be really thankful...

George Michael "Never Gonna Dance Again"

o.O I don't know if anyone can get what you're talking about here -.-;;

We did Tenor Madness in Jazz Band. I liked it. :awesome: Look that up :P

I listened to that one, it's too up beat. Not the right song tho :verysad:.

It was a moderately slow moving song I remember as "elevator music" in a ball room on a cruise we took a bit back.

From what I know, I'm almost 100% sure there are no lyrics to it, purely instrumental.

Yeah I kind of knew it was a long stretch, but what better place to ask hehe.

I swear it's hard to find the title of a song without lyrics :crazyest:.

Hmm took me less than 3 minutes to find it after looking through my library for "soprano", then listening to everything that came up. I guess somethings you look for in life are really right in front of you.

Video eg:

[Found it!]

Thanks :woot:

Song is by Kenny G. - Going Home.

Ah. Kenny G... that's why I didn't recognize it. God, I hate Kenny G. haha

And lol @ Tenor Madness. I remember playing that way back in the day. This got me thinking about jazz band from high school... damn, I need to finding the recordings I have. I got to see what kinds of improv solos I busted out.
