Well, in my opinion the 360 is a kickass sytem, my favorite of the 3 but damn it i cant find a game (Other than sports games) that can keep me attached. Ive tried a number of games, and i havent really gotten "hooked" on anything quiet yet. I love madden (which isnt even all that) and other sports games.

Was looking for any serious suggestions on some badass games, or upcomming games that might be truly worthwhile, i still havent played Gears or Tenchu, i think those might be fun, but i guess ill wait and see.

Gears and tenchu are both bomb. I posted some videos of me ripping through tenchu online in my Tenchu Z thread. Although, it is a hit or miss game, some like it while others hate it. I'd def rent it first. And to think you've had a 360 this long and havent picked up gears is like a sin man, that game is the shit.

Like Raider said Gears is a definite pick up. Its getting pretty high on most purchased all time list if i remember correctly. You are also guaranteed sequels to it too. (They are contracted to make GoW2 and GoW3 if i'm not mistaken. Also there is going to be a GoW movie)

If you were a fan of the Nintendo game Animal Crossing, Viva Pinata would be a good grab too (i just bought it for $20). It seemed really kiddy, but when i rented it with my girlfriend for fun i'm the one that played it more.

If you are more of a fan of RPG's Oblivion is a pretty good one to pick up, and can get it pretty cheap if you look hard since it has been out awhile.

Crackdown. Despite how it seems, it's nonlinear. The game recommends you take out one gang before another, but you can do any however you feel really. One just has better weaponry than the next. You won't be able to leave The Keep through their tunnels to get there, but you can just cross the bridges that connect the three islands together. Plenty of side activities, especially with the DLC.

Overlord. Fun in short bursts. Decent Multiplayer, but it hurts because of poor netcode. Hopefully a patch arrives soon.

Dead Rising. Lots of things to do, 5 or 6 endings.

Gears is just a must.

GRAW2 for one amazing visual shooter with great multiplayer online.

Forza2 300+ cars, real physics what can i say.

Dirt maybe best visual racer and fun as hell to be sliding in dirt like that.

Lost Planet if you are into SciFi, its great game.

DeadRising will have a chance to keep you playing for a LONG time.

Oblivion is 40Hours at least, was good game. Rpg first person mode for most part. Has its moments lol.

Crackdown and Saintsrow both in the sandbox areas. GTA like games, not the greatest but they also have their moments.

There are some great games out there man. Maybe tell what you are interested in and we can get more in depth with a certain game.

Dead rising is a must have game. I LOVE that game. I hadnt played in months, but came back to it 2 nights ago to get my tourguide and Frank the pimp achievements. going for saint now.
gotta do an achievement farming while i wait for MS to ship my online box back

I think im definitely gonna be checking out, GoW, Tenchu and Dead rising. Thanks alot for the tips guys, i really appreciate it.

Gears is kickass, and Crackdown is awesome.

Those are currently my 2 favorite 360 games that I have played at the moment.

Although when Blue Dragon, GHIII and Rock Band come out, they'll be added to my list =D

Tomb Raider: Legend is a must have game. it's a lot of fun and has many unlockables and achievements to keep you hooked. plus you can find it for under $20 now.
Dead or Alive is also pretty fun. So is Viva Pinata if you're looking for something different.
There's a lot of games out there. Also, if you're sick of stuff, hit the Live Arcade. Sonic the Hedgehog is fun, Band of Bugs was an interesting 12 hours, and Golden Axe is... well... you ride on the back of a giant turtle village island beast. 'nuff said.

rainbow6 vegas is a good game. for racers imma have to pick dirt over forza 2. forza 2 is a good game but i like rally games more. i passed on gears, for some reason i just didnt like the way it played. it all depends on what type of games you enjoy though.

Gears of War, is a must IMO. Other games recommended are all damn fine. Did not see one of my personal favorites though. Kic is a Canadian so they are kinda off in the head, think it involves all the maple syrup or something.

For a fun hack and slash game, nothing and I mean nothing beats Dead Rising. You, a mall stuffed to the brim with merchandise, and an endless hordes of zombies; much fun ensues. There is a surprisingly decent plot involved if you wish to see how that unfolds and survivors you can rescue, and some psychopaths you can kill. (Or if it floats your boat you can kill the survivors as well w/e) As you kill more zombies, rescue survivors, and butcher psychopaths you level up gaining increased speed, health, maneuverability, damage, fighting moves etc. You can use just about anything as a weapon, nothing is as classic as taking a lawnmower to a pack of shambling brain eaters.
