ok, for sometime now when i play certain npcs/ mobs disappear when my camera is is behind me or to my side and such and also when i click on a npc for a cs or to shop and such they flicker can anyone help me this is really irritating now as i tend to play more and more and want it to be gone any help would be great as this is a problem i want gone like yesterday.. thanks ill try to explain it better as we get deeper in it as it could be my graphics card setup or sumthing but yeah thanks....
 
My intuition says there might be something going on with your graphics card / driver. I haven't experienced the symptoms you're seeing, so I can't really offer you any specific advice, but I'd start with updating your drivers for your video card.
 
If you are using SLI Mode, with an Old driver, Turn off SLI mode it won't flicker or disappearing npc/mob

Update your driver will help, I had my flickering with my SLI enable on my old driver... with a new driver i downloaded, even it run on SLI mode, it doesn't flicker anymore.

Reason it does that because FFXI doesn't support SLI and it will do weird things to spirits, on new driver, GPU will know this game doesn't support and will not force themself into SLI mode, and make your 2nd card on idle mode


If you using only 1 GPU, just update your driver that your card support, if it still a problem, better call POL tech support or your GPU company tech support
