My friends and I play a complex board game, Arkham Horror. It has a ton of cards and tokens to keep track of, so getting it set up/putting it up is a pain. So, I'm looking for some kind of organizer to speed things up. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anything even remotely close to what I'm looking for online. I'm not sure if I'm just googling the wrong thing or if there really is nothing pre-made that I can buy. Anyone know where I can look to find something to store about 18 decks of cards, and a ton of little tokens/markers?

Something like this?

I find that if you look up stuff for like Warhammer or any tabletop war games really, you can easily mod those to fit your needs. Another thing I used to do for card game stuff, I would modify the hard shell CD or if you can find them tape organizers. They work great for laying out cards and other small items.

See, you need to stop playing Arkham, and start playing Dominion.

Because that way, the box is an organizer. And the game is extremely fun. :o

But seriously, Taur's right, Ultra Pro should have pretty much exactly what you're looking for.

What's Dominion?

Ultra Pro doesn't have exactly what I want, but it's likely to be the closest thing I can get without building it myself. I'll have to check out some of the stores that carry their stuff when I have the time.

What the hell are these card games? I'm about to google them. I like card games a lot and as a future designer I should know these.

Arkham Horror is a board game based on HP Lovecraft's works. The premise is all the players are characters in a city called Arkham, and you're trying to stop an Elder God from waking up. Gates to other dimensions open up, monsters come out, and you have to close/seal them while dealing with a bunch of other stuff in Arkham. It's complex at first, but extremely fun, and there's a bunch of expansions that add new boards, new cards and whole new mechanics to the game. On top of all that, we've found a card creator program, so we can make our own characters/elder gods/items/whatever we want.

Vanilla arkham, just to show how much stuff there is:

That's without encounter, Mythos, otherworld encounters, the elder god sheet, Heralds, Guardians, and several other cards.

The creators of the game even made some additional characters for people to download and use: Tyco, Gabe, and Anne-claire as a Guardian. Warning, they're PDF's.

You're such a fucking nerd, Baja.

Why read cards when I can roll a D20?

Wow, I read up on him and he was born in the freaking 1800's, that's nuts.

Taken from Wiki:

Lovecraft's major inspiration and invention was cosmic horror, the idea that life is incomprehensible to human minds and that the universe is fundamentally alien.

I like that.
