I have 2 LS mates who live together who cant zone out of Buruububibumi (spelling I think). It started when one of them was in Whitegate and was r0ing...no surpirse there. He got to Bastok and still the same thing. Then he started Dcing - He cant zone into MH cause he gets dropped from server. The ONLY zone he can hold a connection in is Buruububibumi, (which he eventually made it to the NPC to warp him.) When he tries to zone out r0 and dcs. Now his GF CAN get to her MH but cant zone out of it. They called a GM about it but 203 calls in the que ahead of them.

Would this be a server side thing or is it local? Also anyone else having this kinda issue?
 
I was having issues this morning while logging into 2 of my mules, which were in windurst woods. As soon as I logged in, the send/receive started going to 0 and eventually my connection was lost, without having any other NPCs, or anything else load.

Going to see if i'm still having that issue when I get home, but in the past when people have had problems logging in on their character i've usually seen the problem corrected by having a trusted friend log into their character for them, and move the character to a new zone. Or if you have another way to play FFXI, try loading it there and moving your character.
 
Yea I could try logging into thier accounts and moving them. Good to know that the same thing happened to someone else tho.

ok this relieves me -.- server error and not Italian networks related both me (Milan) and my friend (Rome) are having this problem :( actually she did zone and it seem all worked, i was in jeuno and all was fine, then tele-mea and R=0 i did zone in buburimu/meripat/sarutabaruta by walking a little before d/c relog and walk another little but everithing did no result
 
Yeah, what the hell, I used the pay taru to take me to Ru'Lude and it takes me there, but I R0 the second I get there and it D/C's me, it isn't my internet connection, since I can post here.
 
my guess is that theres a dat file that Se has corrupted or something. I got stuck in Chateau D'orginelle (or w/e its called) and couldnt zone or anything, because a dat file I had mistakenly changed was part of that zone, and dc'd me.

But I doubt this is the problem, because I didnt get R0. I got an error that shutdown ffxi
 
They had some maintenance in windhurst and a few other places early this morning.
 
Crawler's Nest and Bastok Mines had problems less than two hours ago.
Zone in, R0, disconnect.
Log in, R0, disconnect.
Log in, R0, zone, disconnect.
Log in, finally in safe area.

GM call useless. Only got a help desk response that they can't help and pointed to the playonline support page.
 
I've had several similar problems in the past. At 1 time every time I tryed to zone into Cape Terrigan it would d/c called GMs but couldnt help me. Then I worked my but off to get Sky then every time I entered it was so laggy I couldnt even move. Talked to Tech support and come to find out my sound card was the problem so got a patch from their site and been fine since. Now however usually when I log on not too long afterwards my pc restarts. Usually only once but has done it 3 times in a row. Then its fine not sure what the hells causing that.
 
CN had massive problems. but like people saw, it's not like a normal dc... normally you dc and when you log back on you are where you were when it started, i managed to walk all the way through CN one dc at a time.
 
This shit is redic. Can't zone into Valley :(

yes i did this too from tahrongi to jeuno :(
 
Zoning back to a safe zone will generally give you back control of your character, but for now there seems to be no way to get through zones that cause your char to R0

This is supposed to be their response with regards to the POL-3113 error.
It seems they don't understand that there's two separate issues at play here.
 
Bunch of morons. Seriously, SE needs to hire technical support that can figure out the problem (be it THEIR end, or the player's end) and post the solution. -_-
 
If you have the ability to get a new IP from your ISP, you might want to try that.
 
Why am I getting the horrible feeling I'll need to re-install the game to fix this problem.....
 
yeah, I still can't get on 3113 can eat me
