Is such a wonderful thing to hear from a doctor at the age of 18.

So yeah, I'm really bummed out this has happened, I have shooting cold pain in my thigh to my knee but it's focused at my knee constantly now. It's from an old accident in high school while I was playing basket ball. I jumped up for a shot and a kid ran right into me shifting my knee and I came down wrong pulling a ligament, my knee swelled up pretty bad too. Other then that, yeah. It wont impact me MAJORLY besides the fact I'm living with this pain now. I just had to vent that~

OTHER THEN THAT! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Sorry to hear that Helius. When I broke my back, I was damned lucky that nothing too horrible happened to my spine. A few nerves were pinched, but surgery relieved that. It hurt so much, so I understand the pain you are going through. They did give me a nice morphine drip for a while for that though ^^

I had an RPG round hit about 15 feet from me in Somalia in 93. The shrapnel tore up my knee (which VA "fixed") and peppered the inside of my right forearm. There was all sorts of meat and shit hanging out when I finally got around to getting to a medic. They looked at it briefly and just sorta stuffed all the stuff back in the holes, then stitched it up. Can't feel anything from my elbow down.

It was a 18 year-old Private who examined me. lol. Military medicine rawkz! Do you have insurance? Have a neurosurgeon take a look at it. So long as it's not a VA hospital or Kaiser they might be able to fix you.

I don't have anything nearly as bad as that, but my left thumb was cut really bad in February, the left half is numb now.

This almost sounds like what is called "Compartment Syndrome". It damage to the nerves and muscle death due to impaired blood supply to the area. Last year, my younger brother needed emergency surgery to fix the problem. He took a knee to the quadricep in a soccer game, and his knee, thigh area became very swollen and numb. Thought that you might like a little bit of info on this. Here's the wiki for more:

Well, the selling went down, though thanks for the information. I plan to go to the doctors sometime this upcoming week.

I once stubbed my toe really bad. It hurt alot.

Ditto, that and papercuts.

Oh, and I cut my finger off when I was 3 and I still have no feelings, so I know what your going through to an extent.

Well, I found out my problem, I stretched a nerve running along my pelvic bone. Doctor said it will heal, I just need to not wear my belt on the same line as it, as in, steve earcl or go black for a month...oh the choice...

Once you go black, you never go back.
